  1. We have all the worst parallels with Ashley, Chansiri, Yonge etc and sizeable portion of our fanbase will still blithely say “be careful what you wish for”. I can’t wait for admin, not because I want it but I know it’s coming so we might as well hurry up and get it over and done with. Just got to hope that the debt isn’t it too great and there are owners willing to take it on (my gut feeling is there will be).
  2. Even if he’s a good FD (up for debate), CEO is an entirely different role and somebody that was a financial controller 2 years ago is wholly under qualified for it. We need a track record here, not somebody that has done the bare minimum to impress.
  3. He’s ludicrously under qualified to be CEO. We essentially need an experienced turnaround specialist and we’ve appointed somebody that has only been FD for two years. Would any of those business appoint a new CEO that was up until two years in a mid management position, from an organisation that has performed terribly? No. All the while our finances have been a disaster (largely not his fault) but what he has been able to control has seen little to no movement. We’ve got a light show coming up against Bristol City, what sort of FD let’s shit like that slide at a time of financial peril
  4. Financial controller to CEO in 3 years just wouldn’t happen at any other organisation of this size. Just as they wouldn’t appoint a Thai supply chain manager as interim MD. Davies hasn’t started cutting the headcount (it’s grown with a completely unnecessary role with Rudkin’s promotion), hasn’t mothballed Belvoir drive and consolidated the teams into training at Seagrave. He hasn’t cut the flamethrowers, the clappers, the egregious amount of stewards (home and away, away stewards ffs) or any of the other superfluous crap. If he hasn’t been able to affect any change as FD, then taking a promotion to line his own pockets whilst working under the same ineffective owner and board is immoral. We’re running headfirst into abyss and these appointments are essentially saying run faster.
  5. Wow somebody in the finance team stepped in to deal with a financial matter, canny and savvy operator alright
  6. Not like me to defend anything the club has done but I'm not sure net profit is something CFG are that bothered about
  7. May 2026: Leicester City can today confirm the club's evolution into League One for the 2026/2027 season.
  8. The finances are a complete mess even if you disregard that he's not responsible for any sporting decisions. We still have a gigantic headcount, we still have too many stewards, we've still f ucked about with clappers, we still have two training grounds. Nobody should be going from a mid management position like financial controller to CEO in 3 years. There is nothing to suggest we have gotten our house in order with the operational, no-footballing finances apart from spectacularly badly managed attempt to change staff payment dates, even that seemed like a KP overlord directive. Whether he's culpable or not it's completely wrong that somebody with no turnaround experience, or in fact any experience of being a CEO is tasked with managing the impending financial meltdown. It smacks of another KP in-house appointment because he knows too much. It's the equivalent of appointing Jannik Vestergaard as the manager.
  9. These are all piddly, ancillary things. Our finances are a cataclysmically bad, massive headcount, two training grounds, losing money hand over fist and we're going to have to restructure and renegotiate almost EVERYTHING, otherwise we'll be insolvent in 12 months. Instead we've promoted one of the most culpable people to be CEO. It's like making Peter Sutcliffe Head of HR.
  10. That's not the worst bit, appointing a man that was the financial controller 3 years ago as the f ucking Chief Executive when we need a complete transformation in the boardroom is a disaster. It's classic KP, internal promotions instead of recruiting somebody with a clue.
  11. Academy coach -> Chief Football Officer Thai customer service manager -> interim MD of an English football club Financial controller -> CEO A pattern of unfit and unsuitable appointments again and again. Top deserves the club to liquidate on his watch, inept little C UNT
  12. Financial controller -> Finance Director -> CEO in 3 years, wow this guy must have been a revelation when it comes to finances, sustainability and operational ability! The finances, sustainability and operational ability:

  18. I spoke to the owner when I. Went in and he said the finances just don’t stack up to do pizzas full time, especially in light of NI+MW increases. As a bland craft beer place it doesn’t have much of a future either, needs more decorative features
  19. Some people were incredibly wrong ITT
  20. Possibly but I think Rudkin & co are just so myopic they didn’t think it was an issue. Had we shifted Soumare for whatever his PSR breakeven was and got even a standard DM we’d be much better off now
  21. They're also too incompetent to pay people to be pro-KP. Half the the time they can't identify people with all the CCTV and the information they have in the ground
  22. We didn't fill our loan quota
  23. We don't have the makeup of a squad that can keep clean sheets so we're going to score 3 or 4 a game to stay up - this set of players aren't up to that and Rowett, despite his organisation ability won't be able to patch up a defence so leaky. You can slag the defenders off all yo like but there just isn't the cover ahead of them. Our only true DM is injured and not good enough anyway. Any combo of Winks/James/Skipp lacks the defensive ability and physicality to stop the opposition progressing up the pitch. Never mind that it was a foul on Skipp this sums it all up, we concede a shot on target early on and Mukasa ends top applying the most pressure, Winks is totally bypassed - he djsut does;t have the commitment, legs and physicality to get near their midfield. I can't profess that'd he'd have been the answer but recalling Cartwright might have provided a different option. Skipp and James is the best pairing defensively but they're still not good enough. Not replacing Ndidi is was stupid and reckless
  24. Spent the 11th most on wages in PL history and we’re starting down the barrel of a 3rd relegation in 4 years. Aiyawatt inherited a club with the best foundation it’s ever had, literally the best ever era. We finished 5th in his first full season and he’s presided over a decline that is essentially unimaginable. The odds of this decline would be in the 1000s. He’s essentially worked harder to destroy this than what everybody that came before him did to build it.
