  1. Top is most of the way there anyway
  2. And Skipp. All of these signings had serious holes picked in them by a few on here on the summer - that’s with a cursory glance at stats sites too. Nevermind what Rudkin and Glover would have access to.
  3. Agree with everything you’ve said
  4. BDCR and Ayew are only declining. I don’t even rate him but at least McAteer is quick, homegrown and hungry. Play him, Bilal and Buonanotte and we at least have a bit of dynamism going forwards. Then try Evans and Monga off the bench. The situation we’re in is shit but it gives a rare opportunity to play players with any pressure of needing results - it can hardly be worse.
  5. I hate the AI slop but it’s useful in a work context. For ideation, summaries, spell check, condensing word counts etc. AI LinkedIn posts are like 60hz of retinal cancer though
  6. The lack of commercial demand into the airport the problem perhaps? Calling it Nottingham-Leicester airport probably makes more sense to Europeans flying in, EMA makes sense to locals but we already know if it. 99% of British people wouldn’t be able to point to any airports named after regions (or people) in Europe. It’s also completely typical of Leics’ rail connectivity that EMA parkway isn’t even close to it. Equally, a direct rail link to BHX from Leicester would be useful.
  7. It shows how clueless Top is, he could release a statement full of platitudes promising to change and appoint a new director, not even replacing Rudkin and 50% of the wavering fans would be on board again for a season. Instead it’s the KP modus operandi of say absolutely nothing.
  8. Wasn’t even that cold but I just want to bring it up - Moscow
  9. 3 hours minimum on a flight in total plus, another few in the airport and probably another hour each way going to and from the airport for half a day somewhere - not for me. I basically cut it as fine as possible getting into an airport. “Get there at least two hours before” no. Especially without checked in luggage.
  10. Tonne is open until 2am everyday and Firebug 4am. Thursday will be alright but still quieter than you’d expect.
  11. Where did you end up?
  12. He'll get a job at a Sevilla tier club after Chelsea. Got very frustrated with him in the end but he's a talented coach and he's gotten us up once already. Better than anybody for actually playing young players too. Nelson, McAteer, Jakub and even Marcal got a decent amount of minutes.
  13. The promoted clubs spent about £250m between ourselves. Our lack of PSR headroom is our own doing because we put players on too much money and can't or won't sell them.

    When Taken

    Number 1 has been used before I think #WhenTaken #387 (20.03.2025) I scored 832/1000🏅 1️⃣📍2.1K km - 🗓️1 yrs - 🥈148/200 2️⃣📍139 km - 🗓️11 yrs - 🥇176/200 3️⃣📍811 km - 🗓️7 yrs - 🥈167/200 4️⃣📍1.1K km - 🗓️6 yrs - 🥈161/200 5️⃣📍641 km - 🗓️1 yrs - 🥇180/200 https://whentaken.com
  15. Scriven has to play. Arguably been our best player across all formats over the last few seasons
  16. European trophies are a crap proxy for club size in this context. Ipswich and Aberdeen are at best medium-sized.
  17. I wonder what it’d take for some to finally be King Power out. The worst and mosy expensive PL relegation a few years after finishing 5th twice, plus winning the cup isn’t enough. £200m+ of players leaving on frees, our best players leaving, PSR charges, monumental losses each season, gambling future TV revenue for advances, not expanding the ground, scandalous match day pricing, £25 charges for a physical season ticket etc etc What would it take? 5 years in the championship doldrums? We want KP out before it gets that bad. A stitch in time saves nine.
  18. We can’t be beholden to what the media to or other fans think. We support our club and as fans we’ll do what’s best for it.
  19. They might but it's better forcing the issue rather than doing the counterfactual, which is watering down any protest sentiment enough that KPFC Ultras won't be annoyed at it. The narrative would be Leicester Fans Protest Against Owners, Some Fans Express Support for Owner. At the minute we're basically just tacitly expressing support for the owner anyway.
  20. There is no protest they'd be hay with, most would back Top if we went down to league one because his dad died - nothing to do with his own ability to run the club.
  21. The same fans are alienated by any protest. They think it's just one of those things that happens, we were in league one {current_year-2009} years ago. They have to be ignored because they just pay less attention to what's going on.
  22. Abrasive anti-KP/Top sentiment is going to catch more attention than the witty slogan nicey-nicey approach. They're not doing anything differently yet so it's time to escalate it. Are they going to sell up immediately? No, but are they under more pressure and more likely to enact change from a point of self-preservation. How it plays with the KP circle in Thailand is important too. 'KP Out' means Top's mum and the family are going to look even more disapprovingly on the project. Trying to keep the sensible, middle-grounder fans on board doesn't move the needle because they're very unlikely to protest anyway.
  23. Primal Scream in Notts and JAWS in Birmingham next month. Not been to a gig since December and it's flown by scarily quickly. Then Empire Of The Sun in August and Oasis in September, both in London.
  24. Probably would have been injured in arrival if did join us.
