Dogshit v Cowpat
-
Equally I remember him being utter toilet v Bristol City and Middlesbrough
-
Yep Quorn now the only team unbeaten in the top eight tiers of English footy. Corby gone to shit. Went St Neots v Aylestone Park, home side won 3-2. Great little modern ground. St Neots now top but looks like it’s going to be a good title race between those two and Rugby Borough
-
It’s thawing slightly. They are set to host Euro Under 21s together. Just don’t mention Kosovo
-
European rugby is terrible isn’t it right now? It’s stuck on a nonsense channel and everyone sends second teams to the away games. The Sharks team Tigers played today were total toilet
-
Congerton’s assembly of a total wonder team at Atalanta should tell you I don’t think he was necessarily the issue when in situ. I know that’s not a common opinion but the way he’s done well there suggests to me he isn’t this calamity it’s perceived. The club runs it’s transfers in a way clubs really don’t now. Ie. Managers contacts/preferences, then scouting get their input and then higher echelons of the club involved. There appears to be zero joined up strategy

3 reasons you think we could survive

The big point is we haven’t been dropping points to teams underneath us. We’ve gritted out two favourable results away at Saints and Ipswich. The keeper was one, who knows now. RvN has realised that we can be an effective attacking unit if we get it right -
Well said. Club should have looked for the exit door after his third off the field incident. Some of the errors last season should have been the indicator that it was time to scrap him
-
A lot of paperwork. Effectively like a Secretary for registrations, rules, etc etc
-
Some of his handy work fully on show today when you think we’ve got injuries Ward in goal, shouldn’t be here. Vestergaard, shouldn’t be here with a new lengthy contract Coady, overpaid, no value Choudhury, un-necessary contract extension Skipp, paid far too much for a 6/10 player
-
Another Rudkin disasterclass to permit this player another contract. No team in the top half of the Championship would take him
-
That he asked to come off is bad news
-
It’s peculiar on paper. They have shown multiple times this season that they can dig in get results . However I think it’s increasingly clear that some of this squad are senior and don’t want to challenge themselves when faced with problems. If they don’t have their preferred keeper or they don’t like the tactics or they don’t like a selection on the pitch, they go in playing lazy ****ing football. The squad profile needs to start altering big time. Ambitious players who want to succeed rather than this proven, coasting nonsense

Newcastle 4 Leicester 0 Post Match Thread

Yeah, that’s ****ing painful but there’s going to be a few more of those as well over the next few weeks. We’ve have got to avoided getting carried away. It’s a long old slog in front of us. Hermansen’s injury looks pivotal. If it’s longer than a month, get a keeper in on loan pronto from somewhere like Forest did with Navas -
Ours and West Ham’s be a cracking race

Started Black Doves, high hopes given it’s the writer of Giri/Haji which was bloody superb

It’s a remake of the very good the Bureau (French)

I went a game at Royston last season, called off just before kick off, I had the refund within three days.

Birstall is a pleasant suburb of Leicester. Bit of a high street. Three pubs(although one has a rep). Ground is good for the level. Clubhouse, three or four stands but it's hardly massive.

Where he's very different from a lot of football managers is that he strikes me as a more rounded bloke. Most likely because he fell out of football for a bit after his professional career. He lost both his parents recently and he's also very supportive of his wife's own career too.

Potter has got a team promoted
-
Largely cos they've stepped away from being Danish Burnley and started to use the likes of Damsgaard in a more footballing manner. Fair play for evolving like rather than staying stuck in a pattern.
