Him and Hamza be fun

Of course not all. But the transfer fees and wages involved mean your risk is significantly reduced MacAllister, Caicedo, Enciso, Murillo, Danilo, Scapra (six month gamble which made £5m profit), Rodrigo Muniz are excellent examples Murillo a cracking example - signed for Forest under £10million, plays CB most of last season and very likely to make a huge profit.
-
And in the process used some of our transfer kitty. I am playing largely devil's advocate here but I think the signing of Buonanotte is solid. Just think there's a way we can do it where we are more innovative and clever.
-
A more than valid view but it doesn't really explain why we supposedly signed Golding for £5m.
-
It's a low risk move. Something Brighton, Forest and Palace have all done pretty well at. The latter two staying up in the process fielding these players.
-
We could just go to the source direct? Ie. Pick a player direct from South America - Buonanotte's initial fee was just £5.3million supposedly. Low wages, small fee, develop at our benefit

Amsterdam was a very mixed bag. In parts it was the twee place you think it's going to be. In others it could literally be some British high street with a load of tat. Excellent museums however and the brown cafes can be a treat. Didn't spend enough time in De Pijp to enjoy it which was annoying.

Concerns about the direction of the club

It’s a waste of money cos he’s no better than any of them. As shown with his relegation in Serie A last season -

How much then? It’s a complete waste of money. Jay O’Shea with a similar career but English based cost £7m for Burnley last year -

Tbf Tommy you were the one who used your career to try and belittle people having an opinion. Ie. Something about football manger? Ahh which is what some of us having for years. Rudkin isn’t good enough. That Top is wedded to him has led to no objective performance review. Hence we are here. Like that dog drinking coffee with a fire in the background meme. That football clubs are complex beasts which don’t follow business pattern. Which is way business folk fail or initially struggle. Ratcliffe’s opening few months at United expose that -
And the first signing of financial note was a huge overspend

Concerns about the direction of the club

You tell me. You are the self declared business mogul. Interestingly there’s a quite few successful businessman who’ve vastly underestimated that business logic can be applied to being involved with a football club. Notably those buying clubs now recognise the need for top footballing knowledge and experience in those roles assisting them. You only as good as your DoF / Technical Director. -
Concerns about the direction of the club

If we want to use a buzzword, there’s no ‘synergy’ at LCFC. No continuous planning. Parts of the club post Ranieri worked hard to get autonomy - therefore would be in situ regardless of managerial appointment. That’s all skewed now. A lot of talent disappeared as well. On the financial front, I can only look at something like £15m on Okoli which relegates your outstanding prospect Ben Nelson further down a pecking list. If you need to fostering something, you’ve got start having some non negotiables in place. It’s very mixed messages Equally it was huge this summer to unite with creating some siege mentality and it’s been missed. There’s plenty at the club who are completely confused by the approach this summer. -

You can’t compare a business set up to a football club. The latter has so many variables it’s simply just not a comparison. -
There’s rules against setting up groundshares to solely achieve promotion. Needs to be a longer plan. The ground issues were legal more than anything
-
You are certainly evidence why so many will dislike Nuneaton over these coming 12 months
-
I also love the notion that less teams means that better quality overseas players come here too. They are simply guns for hire.
-
Yeah it’s a very good ground. Was built during their VS days

What are your expectations for next season?
CosbehFox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
On a very basic level, they had a striker and a no 10 which caused issues. You could see one of ours taking Johnson’s role but they had more going forward than we do currently -
The tone could change. They’ve sent an email out today advertising Villa tickets are available to season ticket holders guests. The article describes them as Unai Enemy’s Champions League qualifying. Whilst doing nothing to encourage and highlight how huge fan support is going to be this season. The vibe just isn’t there to build a siege mentality. It feels as though there’s some arrogance that this is beneath them. It’s a summer in PR disaster
-
When you consider we were promoted before May, it’s very much panic button time
-
Big wages, long injury record

What are your expectations for next season?

20th. The best Cooper could do is get some wins which give the fans some pride. Or things such as dragging down Forest or another with us in those May fixtures. -
That wouldn’t make much sense though. He’s taken a photo from a central Birmingham hotel. Plenty of good quality places around the airport to stay or chill out. He’s had to meet someone in central Brum
