  1. I like him. But he can't play AYew as a striker. It basically means al build up play is 60 yards from our goal and teams can play a high line. We have no-one running past him as a second or third time runner. If you have that plonker Daka up front, he will spin behind occasionally and that makes opposition have to play deeper or get caught out.
  2. Yeah was crap. Keep playing Ayew upfront and we will keep playing with half of a pitch. Piss of piece to defend against us.
  3. Poor bastard yesterday was sold one. To his right, he has Vestergaard, so he has to be careful about opening the channel between them - hence twice he had up being double up. In front of him, he has Monga at 16 who didn't provide much help. Centrally to him, he has Skipp who was about twenty yards away from his man. There's a whole space on the left hand side of our pitch which is Bermuda Triangle.
  4. Couple of superb pubs done yesterday in amongst Rose & Crown, London Bridge. Very good beer selection Dog & Bell, Deptford. Murphys Stout. Off the beaten track in the interest Deptford. Up there as a London top contender. Old Nuns Head, Peckham/Nuns Head. Went here for Dough Hands Pizza (incredibly good) but a lovely Laine Zesty Lager. Stormbird, Camberwell. The old classic but very quiet and sadly lost points for the atmosphere. Every other time I've been there, it's been packed.
  5. You have just put union fs next tifo message in my head 'For the greater good, **** off!' as they run out
  6. Yeah he's got a month at best. At 9am, Forest fans dismissing it as the media out to get them and dis-settle them. By 1pm, it's funeral marches around West Bridgford Build the Facundo statue !
  7. Unfortunately I think Hearts who take advantage, if anyone, Hibees just missing something.
  8. Forest meltdown, Faes on the way and 10 plus pints of British institution sank tomorrow in the Smoke. Not a ****ing 3-0 whipping by Jesus' chosen one, Nathan Jones can stop me!
  9. Martin Dickey, of Brewdog just left them. He’s the brewer. They are going to shit aren’t they? Glorious
  10. Do I break it to you? He supports the Ev
  11. As much as I am not a fan of the Director of Comms, I think even if they wanted to do such a statement, the chairman would not want to. I think it's underestimated how the club is completely tied to one person, their decision making and it operates in fear of not annoying them. Self-fulfilling culture mind. It's what happens when you allow an ownership group too much worship and forgot to remember what a football club is.
  12. Btw Plymouth's senior directors/ownership teams have been utterly shocking for the last two years. This has taken a long time for the fans to get something out of them.
  13. Trust have pointed such examples before and have other groups within their faux fan engagement framework https://foxestrust.co.uk/11895/lcfc-and-the-communication-void-part-2 All the examples contained within this statement (examples of Southampton & Ipswich's senior directors/chairman with communication) have been shared towards the club. The club have minuted in their own Fan Engagement meeting minutes that the communication isn't good enough https://assets.ctfassets.net/0wcpt07qzvlh/1uOI8uSsVMQ5g952GIAU2h/4575045c93647256aad678297af7f46d/FanAdvisoryBoard_MeetingFour_.pdf 'Fan sentiment and the lack of communication from the Club about relegation and future plans were addressed.....Fan representatives stressed the importance of communication from the Club leadership as soon as possible.' https://assets.ctfassets.net/0wcpt07qzvlh/4KmPmgwQlzpvsjVPc2D1ak/da817730e0ca27c6327b90ade906616b/FCCWorkingGroups_MeetingThree__Final.pdf It was felt that the disconnect between fans and the Club was largely due to a ‘communication void’ from the Club. Group members felt unhappy with the lack of communication from senior leaders/owners at the Club about relegation and requested a statement from the owners/leaders. They felt this should be across multiple channels including video and should be backed up with personalised communication, such as a personalised letter or calls to some Season Ticket Holders. Members would like the Club to outline what the plans are to rebuild, even if that is a long-term plan which doesn’t immediately include returning to the Premier League – they want to know that there is a plan that they can get behind. We are beyond the point of showing them examples of what good communication is. They don't want or won't do it. That's even when fans say it within the confines of their fan engagement meetings, frameworks and whatever idea they want to push fans concerns down.
  14. They would do it anymore. Honestly think the sticking point is when consulting solicitors, they have told the Gambling Commission will fine us and will do us after getting a warning last time.
  15. Worth mentioning that ITFC's Rudkin, Ashton, is piss poor at his job as well. Hated at Bristol City
  16. Remember when Ipswich fans used to say we were ungrateful etc etc? You wanna read them lot now.
  17. You unlucky chap. I was there for that Cup victory in 2005. Corker of a day that.
  18. It would impossible to implement in a truly global sport. It's a great idea but the big four American leagues don't have rival leagues to compete with (Hockey to an extent). If a wage cap was put in place, it would have to be enforced across Europe because clubs would complain they can't compete in the Champions League. This has happened in Rugby Union where French and Irish club sides dominate largely in European competition
  19. They have over achieved to their relative size and history though. That's as bigger achievement/gap as say Newcastle for example.
  20. Was literally going to say this - point well made. Ultimately it's about pride and community. I'd still argue PSR is in principle a good idea but it's the application and the rules which are terrible which let it down. Without PSR, the likes of Wednesday would be in bigger shit.
  21. Worry about the quality of player and coaching being putting in place. National League is not the place to learn. Experience is much needed.
  22. If you miss out, as Leicesterpool says I wouldn't worry. Even the tick will be temporary as they are well on their way to getting a new ground in Kidlington. Which is hopefully going to be a bit more like Brighton/Falmer. It's a terrible place to watch football and actually difficult to have a decent booze in Oxford as a result. The nearest pubs are in a village twenty five minutes away, on an estate thirty minutes away or in a Hollywood Bowl.
  23. I’ve got all nostalgic for that feeling twenty odd years ago when we were the footballing equivalent of a pack of Revels. We could be good, we could be shit, we could be weak. Back slumming it into the flat roof pub we started out in.
  24. Daka with 1 goal in 38 appearances
