Well they let him have a go at Horse Racing
-
Bingo. All it takes is the clubs to contact the season ticket holders in question to find out
-
I’ve only been supporting teams in those sexy Kappa kits for the last three years
-
They get proposals and information together and present it to him. LCFC works best in its current model when the manager is willing to do some of the DoF role (like football used to be). Hence why the successes here have been Pearson, Rodgers and Maresca.
-
Every decision goes through him. Even the smaller stuff such as ticket pricing etc. He wouldn’t be willing to go completely hands off
-
You’ve touched at a nerve there. As far back at five years ago, the debate rumbled on about that on here. Plenty of us pointed out the bloke simply doesn’t do the role of the DoF. Add to that Rudkin is protected by plenty of the old youth guard who pop on here to defend him
-
Fundamentally I don’t think it’s in South-East Asia business culture to do this. They want the autocratic control. You only have to look at Cardiff, Wednesday and Reading for example
-
Newcastle an example there, bit like ourselves. A new owner arrives to ‘save the club’, spends some money, get some success and then begin eroding at fan support. Constant maximising of profit where possible
-
The actual manager is one thing but the more damning matter is that it’s taken them two months decide they want rid of RvN and over that period have either:- a) done zero contingency planning b) or royally messed up previous negotiations with Martin and/or Rohl, now onto Plan C There is no other business in the world where it’s captive audience could pay for something in late April and such incompetence be shown yet we still all be in the stadium come start of August
-
Impossible to happen. The club are simply reliant on agents finding unemployed managers for interviews. We don’t identify, profile and target managers.

I have just worked out on the two days I've been to at each test, my scorecard is:- India 636/8 England 77/3 And I am off Lord's on Saturday -
And photographed or filmed at least three to four of the media from the signing announcements
-
FA Cup Extra Prem Round - weekend of 2nd August (Leics clubs) Hinckley AFC v Highgate Stafford Rangers v Lutterworth Town Worcester Raiders v Ashby Ivanhoe Aylestone Park v Northampton Sileby Rangers Daventry Town v Leicester Nirvana GNG Oadby Town v Newark & Sherwood United Bottesford Town v Melton Town Loughborough Students v Barton Town The Prem Round is bit of a mess so will leave that off

This is my understanding. Morris has a decent relationship with Rudkin and Rudkin doesn't have much of a relationship with really any other agency etc.
-
No. They are two seperate agencies. First Access target younger players and their biggest player on their books is Levi Colwill (who we had a huge interest in). Unsurprisingly they have a load of Chelsea connected players
-
He works for First Access. He’s never worked for Wasserman.
-
Rodgers son doesn’t work for Wasserman Its Morris whose the link
-
Not particularly the league’s fault though. British Basketball have completely ****ed this up and went chasing off American capital dollar
-
It makes you feel as though we've literally picked up the phone to agents and gone 'who can you get us?' We had months to properly profile and identify someone. The money excuse is nonsense if you are chasing someone outside of the PL or in the CL, every manager wants a go in England. I'd rather have ****ing Damien Duff.

Zero ambition, zero progressive thinking, zero drive.

Being the best man organising the stag do in Glasgow - when organising everything it felt like something was on and I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Hotels more pricey and expensive than normal. Both Glasgow clubs playing friendlies on Friday and Sunday rather at least one of them on the Saturday. It was only when I noticed the roads closed on Saturday morning and it all came together - the Rangers shirts & the Belfast accents. Orange Marches. So it made for an interesting start on Saturday. Anyway here's your run down Friday Shilling Brewing Co - solid craft beer, cracking setting, good pizzas Pot Still - favourite and winner, deep Whisky selection, cracking atmosphere, pies during the day The Press Bar - fairly standard spot in Merchant City but a good crowd in there, average beer Tap Yard - crap Brewdog Merchant City - squeezed in a final orders Saturday - a type of sub-crawl Scotia Bar - claims to be Glasgow's oldest, outside looks terrible, inside proper pub, full of Orange order The Laurieston - recent winner of Timeout's best pub/bar in the UK which made a few of the stag group look at me mad, when you turn up outside to this 60s masterpiece of dull architecture. I loved it - it is 1960s, it does feel a bit novelty but equally this is a dying example of a pub The Keningston Bar - now this was Glasgow. Small bar, swift half, like an estate pub Three Judges - highly rated, good selection of bar but felt like off with the place, largely because at this point was overwhelmed by subcrawlers Inn Deep - the pick of craft beer places, 30 taps, interesting setting, you can set outside overlooking the river until 10pm, great pizza place next door. Back to Pot Still Top 3 were The Laurieston (McEwans Export for the win), Pot Still and Inn Deep

I’ve just Queens, Glasgow Parkrun - three laps of three hills and then one huge downhill. Lung bursting -
For anyone's info, if people are going to Seagrave via train, the club ask people to go to Loughborough and then they pick them up from there.
