Abroad, they find it laughable - simply on the grounds that the messages are not unique or special to the supporters because they are put through a filter of club-acceptable waffle. For example, like the Sunderland one - 'till the end' is a nonsense tagline that the club have used. Villa using Ozzy Osborne when he was at the front of their shirt release in 24/25 and has a gig at Villa Park in July.

Delighted for the Rossoblu. Probably the nearest thing I've got a second club abroad.

Livingston 2-0 up in the semi-final as well. If you were Ayr or Thistle, it would be some effort to get promoted.

Speculation on Leicester Road continues to build as Rugby Town get increasingly confident they will be reprieved Anyway non-league divisional line-ups out at noon

There’s that many variables fron when the offside could be given. Like if Elanga plays a better pass, he doesn’t go crashing into the post

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

Lives in Burbage - was giving it the big un when we lost to them. It looks like they sold out though but still have some interest -
One of the big reasons for a lack of girls/women is that you have a higher participation rate amongst women who are interested in Women's football - ie. they in most cases play it. There's no perfect answer to it but basically Sunday afternoon games can not been attended by large parts of the girls/womens grass roots part of the game. That for me is one of the biggest issues that faces all over Women's football as a whole. London's a bit more out of the bubble as my understanding is that the women's football leagues are a bit more varied in when they take place etc and you have players here who play Sundays who play in large 5-a-side leagues down in London

Forest 2-2 LCFC, post-match thread

Tbf not really. Nuno was asking the medical staff is he okay to come back on. They said yes and I don’t think he could then understand why he still wasn’t coming on the pitch. It appeared to me Nuno was making decisions off unclear information. He was willing to change his sub but got told he’s okay ro carry on -
Counter intuitive though - there’s a theory that free coverage extends the amount of exposure to sponsors

Kaputska by the way has recovered to being a regular for Legia Warsaw - occasionally captain

Chelsea fans who go regularly genuinely are chuffed they’ve had a year of differing trips rather than the standard CL trips (quite homogenous once you’ve been in it for a few years). Same applies to Man U with EL. I think that was @bovril point

At the last FCC, there was a big consensus that the women’s team needs further pushing, it’s a good access point for families and the club haven’t done enough. They really should have been pushing for a five figure crowd or a double header or something to try and get it a kick. I mentioned it but I suspect it will fall on deaf ears The best thing for me with the women’s side is that these players are the anti of what we have in the blokes team. Humble, grateful, and your support makes a real difference.

It shouldn’t but I quite look forward to one of the European lesser clubs turn at the City Ground and cause some proper chaos. They are in for shock You’d think our fans are the lunatic fringe of 1980s Millwall the way they bang on about it. Ferencvaros turn up around West Bridgford, they won’t be hanging around Notts County before kick off -

I’ve wanted to do the one nearby Lecce in Italy, largely because a time of 29 minute would win it -
very pretty city - moorish architecture as Kenny says Andalucia’s cities are all worth of time (well outside the traditional 1970 holidays resorts)

Kind of the point isn't it? Dyche comes in, academy improves, still no one coming through. Still to this day as well. I am bored of the debate anyway.

What's up with Knicks? Thought that series v Pistons would hurt them

Roma lost to Atalanta so the latter qualify and Roma are in a four way battle for the final spot - three of those clubs have had great efforts of seasons compared to Juve. Meanwhile Venezia got a huge win dumping Lecce into the relegation zone (plenty licking their lips at a potential derby v Bari for the first time since 2011).
-
It's shit because the first team manager had no interest in it. The end. Yet other clubs of a similar size in the area have produced players.
-
I was using Blackburn as a comparable academy in the same areas who have the record of bringing players from their academy to the first team and therefore other young players in the area are more likely to join Blackburn than Burnley who have minimal record thanks to Dyche’s ignorance on youth products
-
Got the scent of Dyche’s appointment, straight out of the door
-
I told you in my first post. Dyche was self fulfilling at Burnley. By being ignorant to young talent, he made it unsuitable for young players to want join Burnley He’s probably set their academy back years bevause who’d want to see their lad to a club with such an appalling record. Especially if you compare to Blackburn in the local area with players like Adam Wharton
