  1. Doing a double bill of football that day, CBS 12.30 Cov v Leicester then a short bus ride to Bedworth for Nuneaton Boro v Leicester Nivrana for a 3pm kick off.
  2. Possible decent ties Port Vale (away or home) Salford City or Swindon (away - either would be new ground for me) Macclesfield (away) Newcastle United (been a good ten years since I last went St James Park) Sunderland (home - would be a good atmosphere at the KP)
  3. Tottenham out 😆 watched the last 10 minutes what i seen was a Tottenham side trying to break villa players legs. Dirty side there, bit of sour grapes from them.
  4. For anyone looking to do a double bill of football next Saturday. You could attend Cov v Leicester at cbs at 12.30, then you could make it in time for nuneaton boro v Leicester Nivrana at the oval, bedworth which is only like 15 minutes on bus or 10 in uber.
  5. Cheltenham fans must be a tad disappointed even though they are two levels down they must have thought pre match that with leicester's form a cup shock was possible but they never turned up. Credit to the team, kept the Cheltenham crowd quiet.
  6. Page and Skipp in midfield was good strong partnership. I enjoyed seeing Page today, created quite a lot. Hamza had a stinker.
  7. Job done performance, game won in the first half. Safe to say you can see why Cheltenham are 16th in league two. Never really troubled us.
  8. Love when a london club get a cup upset, the press will try and keep that quiet. But well done Macclesfield.
  9. First visit here, feels proper non league. In fact seen better grounds in non league.
  10. If we win itll be just by one goal, cant see us scoring any more than one. Pitch looks rather frosty at our end.
  11. Just boarded the train at Nuneaton, noticed a few leicester fans on already making that early start with a few beers out. They will certainly need those beers this season 😆
  12. At the time I was peed off with Drinkwater's exit as at that the time I dont think we were far off from Chelsea. In fact im sure the year he joined Chelsea they finished lower than us. However look back at now, i get that he probably thought Chelsea was likely the biggest move he'll get. Of course it was apparent that Leicester was about right sized club for him, he wasnt to that level. Its sad as if he stayed he would have gone on to be a great legend for the club.
  13. abandoning the wrong word for me, abandoning would mean we would never hear or see of him. I'd say more treating club like a part time interest, I do feel enthusiasm as gone, when he first took over from his late father the desire was still there to push on and get us back into the champions league, look to win another trophy and look to expand the stadium all excitement and what his dad would proud of. But it kind of felt after the Fa Cup final, his interest some to decrease, It seemed like the vision of making Leicester a force in the premier league was no longer part of the plan, it just seemed like lets just stay in the premier league and then the stadium plans were shelved.
  14. A movie well ahead of its time, if that was released in cinema's tomorrow it would still be an instant hit.
  15. Hopefully the trains are back to normal by tomorrow morning, nothing moving out of Birmingham New Street at the moment going west.
  16. Just looked at webcam of nearby Tewkesbury, no apparent snow present if it has already melted away.
  17. No matter whenever this country gets snow we never prepared, there's instant panic.
  18. They posted a comment 51 minutes ago saying the match was sold out, be nice if they included a pitch update there was.
  19. Be nice if Cheltenham but a post saying don't worry about the storm, we are fully prepared. Even a picture of the special covers etc.. they keep such secret until the day.
  20. Nearly said Kev Phillips but that was championship i think. Teddy Sherringham maybe think he was with west ham in the Premier league he was 40. Think zultan at United was 39.
  21. When he plays and fit, he is really good player at this level sadly he can't play anymore than two games in a row.
  22. The match will be fine, with it being on TNT they will make sure it goes ahead. Just getting there maybe a problem if the roads and railway gets affected.
  23. Shame we couldn't solve the Harvey Elliott issue loan problem and take him on loan.
  24. Problem for Rosenior he's going into a club where the fans don't want you, so added pressure as we seen with Nancy at Celtic if you don't start well you have had it.
