  1. Blackpool 2008 i remember, relegation season. We didn't play well. In the open stand and if you remember blackpool at that didnt have a north stand either so you had the irish sea blowing into us. It was very cold.
  2. If you live in Barwell id say go for it. Dont waste any time or money on foxes at the present. Message to any foxes fans that live in Leicester or surrounding areas get to local non league clubs. The foxes dont deserve our support atm not to till certain people leave.
  3. They even tried adding 'Hinckley' to the title so Hinckley Leicester Road. But don't sound great.
  4. I think for the good of town of Hinckley, it would better off if either Leicester Road wound up or merger with Hinckley AFC. Make it one town team, playing within the town again. The Leicester Road stadium is a good setup as good potential. Having two clubs in the Hinckley as I think been damaging for both, Hinckley AFC being forced to play out of town for so long, means crowds haven't been great. Leicester Road despite playing in the town haven't attracted many fans. One town team playing at Leicester Road will I think really help the interest of football in Hinckley, especially with the foxes struggling at the present.
  5. Pleased for Boston I'm glad they have turned it round, hope they can finish the job and stay up.
  6. Think most of the ground was foxes fans.
  7. James and Eze are probably the worst two players to be interviewed, so awkward.
  8. I don't blame them no, I've been twice and getting away is not easy. Just surprised at the amount of people leaving at the same time. Another dig at wembley.. is that you play this at say at the stadium of light I don't think you see this amount leaving at 88th minute.
  9. 88th minute just look at the amount of empty seats I swear by the time the match is over there's only 10k left in the whole stadium.
  10. Wembley is terrible venue for England matches in terms of atmosphere. When you take England on the road up north the atmosphere is always an improvement.
  11. Scots must be feeling the same way as trojans felt thousands of years ago 😆
  12. Agreed, a polite no to the USA. Good thing about the commonwealth games, gives smaller nations the chance to win something compared to say the olympics.
  13. Think that was the night only 9,000 could make it. Players were forced to abandoned their cars and walk to the stadium due to the heavy snow which left the traffic gridlocked. Even though we won, the game should have never gone ahead.
  14. I seem to recall Leicester v Watford, we had massive snow fall during the game i think it was 2021? I'm sure it was after covid. It was super freezing!
  15. Just finished Adolescence, very interested and thought provoking. The three episodes were very well acted and maybe highlights what a scary modern world we live in. Parents in particular seem to incapable of controlling their children and unable to know what they do behind closed doors. It's a programme that all parents and teenage kids should watch. Certainly shows that parents do need to know what their children are doing and where they are going, who they hang out with. Yesterday I was Kirby Muxloe at the football and there was about 100-150 youths probably aged between 12-16. There agenda was to cause much problems as possible. Trying to start fights and abusing opposition fans and OAP find himself being abused for just walking by the stand, it was noted by many that most of the youths were on summit, some said there a lot of youths who looked under age drinking alcohol. Of course where were their parents.... certainly not there. When the lads come back late... do the parents ask them where they been?... do the parents even care?.... or is it this modern attitude of their just young lads having a laugh? My question is if anyone on this forum for anyone has kids, if you find out that your child had been doing some sort of anti social behaviour what would you do?
  16. I dont think defensively wed have look so poor under Enzo this season.
  17. League one was a great adventure, infact the relegation of 2008 was probably a blessing in disguise.
  18. Enzo not dropping to the championship his next job will either be in the Premier league or in a top tier league in Europe.
  19. Time Foden was dropped not performing for club or country atm a chance for someone like Morgan Rogers to slip into that role.
  20. Was there today nasty atmosphere from the kirby lot. Staff were friendly but as mentioned a number of Kirby youths out in force with agenda to cause trouble even picking fights with themselves. When the final whistle went, many Boro fans wanted to congratulate the players only to be having Kirby hooligans coming over wanting a fight. I swear some were on drugs the antics in the seating stand was beyond weird. Anyway great day for boro league champions with 3 games to spare. Terrific indeed. 848 i believe the attendance with 500 from nuneaton. Weather was foul in the last half an hour, ground quickly flooded. Good day minus the bad weather and a few kirby idiots.
  21. England did limp to the final and the final itself we were second best. A number of players probably felt they could have done more. We probably played better in Qatar two years before but only got to the quarter final and on the night played very well against France and maybe should have beaten them. Southgate I don't think had the knowledge or ability to turn this group into actual winners. Didn't know how to motivate them for the final mile. Southgate did get the players respect, but he wasn't a strict manager. If a player was underperforming he would just put there arm round them and say "chin up, lets go again" instead of getting into their minds and say "it's not good enough, you need to maintain an high standard. Until then you won't win anything" the players need to be reminded of what's at stake and their squad places are never secure.
  22. Imagine a miracle where Man City are docked points and despite how bad we are we stay up in a result of this.
  23. plus Barwell in the same division also...
  24. Lack of investment in the summer of 2022.
