I wouldn’t fight you on it. I kept him mainly because he’s under a relatively decent contract, he’s still relatively young and he does actually care. He’s limited ability wise.

Heard this chant a few times in recent weeks and it got me wondering just how many of our current players I’d keep during this so called “rebuild” Top has promised. My list is based on us as mid-table championship club. That’s our reality now. Not including JJ as he’s on loan, my list of definite keeps is worryingly short… Storlazyck Okoli Nelson Chodhury Fatawu (though he won’t be here beyond the summer) Monga Page Mavididi Aluko S.Thomas Honourable mentions but still gone - Ricky P - love him to bits but I think his legs are gone. Doesn’t seem to get forward enough and lacks the pace to track back when the ball is turned over…which is a lot. Winks - classy when he wants to be. Attitude stinks and doesn’t care about us or the club so **** him. Skipp - always tries hard but just isn’t very good. Decordova-Reid - I think he’s actually decent at this level but he’s not worth another contract. Begovic - just old. I want us to rebuild with youth and promise like we used to. GET IN THE BIN NOW - Vestergaard Daka L.Thomas Kristensen Soumare Ayew Carranza **** FAES. Sorry but I absolutely detest him. I would honestly rather we cut his contract now and had to play a youth team player at CB. Seriously, we don’t have a squad of players worth keeping. We barely have an 11. This isn’t a thread to cover up Marti’s ineptitude. It’s more just to illustrate once again how horrific the recruitment has been from that clown Rudkin who amazingly still has a job.

Just reading his post match interview and it really doesn’t come across like a man who feels under pressure…

For someone of his wealth, education and position in life, he speaks exceptionally poor English. Granted, my Thai is a bit rusty. It would have been better to have had a translator imo. I feel that he ended up waffling on for 10 minutes without really saying anything. But I think that’s in part because of his lack of English. Having said all of that….theres so much negativity on this forum because of the clubs lack of communication. Fast forward to Top trying to change that and 99% of posts are moaning about it. Can Top actually win from here?! Before someone comes for me, I am not a KP fan boy. I’ve wanted top to sell up for the last 3 years. But he’s not going to. So let’s get behind this new found effort to communicate with us otherwise what’s the point?

If we really want Rudkin to go, we need to chant it all game. Not just when we go behind. In fact, the most powerful time to sing it would when we go ahead. We need to get rid of this clown. He’s ruining our club. You wouldn’t sit back and let him date your daughter.

Good. I actually think it could be the wake up call needed. Clearly the two relegations to the Championship haven’t done the trick.

Please explain to me how a team made up of Winks, Skipp, BDR, Ayew, Vestergaard, Thomas and Begovic with all that PL and European experience doesn’t know how to see out a game 1-0 up against 10 men?! It’s no good just saying they’re not good enough. We always know that. But they should be good enough to know how to gain control of that situation.

Sacking Marti is just passing blame. Club is rotten and that needs sorting first.

Replace the manager with someone else and maybe we save the season. My issue with that is the board will once again feel vindicated. It will paper over cracks. I’d almost prefer we stay down so that we actually see something change. Rudkin needs to go and Top needs to sell. He’s run out of money and he’s run out of lives with me now. Yeah we won the PL and it was amazing but it was your dad who did that. You’re just his clueless son. Sell my club.

Everyone is slating the first 11 that Marti chose tonight and yes it was absolutely honking. However, what is Marti supposed to do?! He cannot play JJ, Winks and Ramsey as a midfield 3 for 46 games. Especially after the international break that JJ had. Marti has to find a way to make this horrific lack of squad depth work because we will need to rotate or we will have injuries. I have so much sympathy for Marti because I really think he’s been dealt a crap hand due to years of poor recruitment.
