Sainz one year left at Norwich and likes to dribble forward.

One CF in entire squad, great squad management. 18/27 defensive players.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Chrysalis replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Crazy thing, is, this is probably accurate. -
Since he is suited to football I think is the wrong direction for us and Jakub is reasonable enough, I would be ok if he was sold now.
-
Who would take Rosenior? look where Hull are now, all because their owner didnt like his way of football.
-
Dont forget the I love Top play like Man City scarf.
-
Yes because I judge on results, not perceived performances. You dont win or lose games, get relegated, win titles based on whether you supposedly deserve it, its all done on results. The chances were also better under Cooper no matter how rough we looked otherwise, which is why we scored more goals under him than Ruud.
-
No, just we never went on anything like that run during his reign, so nothing was pointing to it happening. You seem a bit offended I am trying to point out irrational points of view?
-
He played under Cooper, not every game but he played. I remember him losing the ball not under pressure against Forest which led to the passage of play for their first goal and then Justin getting blamed for it. Ft was then filled with comments like "didnt notice it", "oh its Ricardo he gets a free pass". For the most part Ricardo wasnt suited to the way of play under Cooper, a square peg in a round hole sort of thing, but of course there may have been other issues as well, such as him not respecting Coopers way of doing things, or fitness issues that we didnt know about. I have also never said Cooper would have kept us up, just we would be on a much more respectable amount of points and goals scored. My main point here is that we sacked Cooper for emotional reasons, without a proper successor lined up before hand to make it a rational decision.
-
It is material, because the sacking only becomes a good decision if he is replaced with a better manager. We have wasted money on RVN salary for a lower points total.
-
There is nothing to support this theory.
-
It is, but I noticed you did the same as many others, you said your sentence without saying Ruud was a downgrade on Cooper. You think Ruud with his vastly inferior stats was a good swap for Cooper?
-
To be fair ricardo's performances were poor, Fatawa looked lost early on, and I expect Cooper knows more than you on who should be picked to play the game. But to be fair to you you have actually given one of the most sane reasons on here for wanting him gone, which was you disagreed with the team he picked and didnt like his tactical approach. Of course Cooper didnt buy the players though. I also tend to ignore pre season, thats why my own opinion hasnt factored that in and never has done with previous managers either.
-
Yes, you was talking about perceived deserved results instead of actual results.
-
I also remember Mandaric doing a TV interview. Can we see Top doing that?

Question. If you was told by the club, we will only play indirect football to the ability of the players moving forward would you stop watching, as I am curious, we seem to have a lot of football snob fans now, who think we should be playing like Barcelona. The problem with all of these anti Cooper posts, is most of them have no reasoning behind it its usually a vague "its shit" or "I cant understand what happening". The idea behind Cooper is he wouldnt be playing slow intricate Football as that is what was needed to survive. but it seems we have so many entitled fans now who think that type of football is beneath us. The vast majority of posters as well, lets not forget were calling him to be gone in the first week of the season, there was no patience or willingness for it to work across many people, just sheer lunacy, which most people outside of Leicester recognise. Try to make the point Ruud is a worse manager and there is even a sheer stubbornness to admit it, instead the counter is "umm well cooper shouldnt have been here in the first place". I have never seen such hatred to a manager, and its probably the most unjustified I have witnessed. This needs to be addressed, because we will be employing future Cooper's it will happen, and we cant have the same fan revolt happening.
-
League table works on results, not pretty football, not what should have been, not chances, not possession, its all irrelevant at end of season. Points (and occasionally goal difference) is what matters. In short who cares if it was deserved or not. Under Ruud we may have done more tippy tappy which some seem to think is a higher level of football, but we have been totally inept at putting the ball in the back of net and conceding more, yet you say we have improved. I have stopped watching us as we so bad now. We are absolutely worse under Ruud.

Wont be watching the slow intricate play crap personally. -
Thats because they bothered us due to them lobbying, they not lobbying themselves. Also spending limits includes salary, and we cant manage salaries well.
-
Read your post, and you are right when it does work it can be effective, but of course it is Barca with godly players. I immediately thought of an analogy. You a giant tasked to kill a little girl, you can take your time, break one bone at a time, and do it slowly. The other way round you need to take a short cut to have a chance and go straight for the balls or eye with a knife.
-
Its not a step forward, we need to move away from possession based, slow and intricate football.

I know, I have read that dozens of times from different people. We needed a pragmatic manager who was prepared to play ugly football. Cooper was doing ok. Not a long term solution, but for the situation we in, was doing ok. If there was a better option it would have needed to be the same type of manager. But just because you may think he shouldnt have been there in the first place, it doesnt mean you just sack him without a proper upgrade plan for the sake of it, especially as we were not even in the relegation zone and scoring a decent amount of goals. -

Press, neutral fans, ex managers, new manager, pretty much everyone except the cooper haters you mean. Its ok sacking a manager for an upgrade, but no Cooper should not have been sacked "no matter what", if its a good sacking or not is dependent on who replaced him. Ruud is worse by far, which makes it a bad sacking. I would like to think Top knows he ****** it up, it was an emotional not rational sacking.
