Damn you beat me to it, my exact thoughts.

Is relegation a price worth paying for avoiding a PSR breach?
Chrysalis replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
No, we dont have any football minds making decisions, so these decisions will keep being made. -
Had a quick glance at how our window ended and wow, what were we trying to do at the end, what a complete shambles we are compared to how we were before where our transfers seemed thought out ahead.

They offered to pay 100%, so Rudkin said ok 25% it is. -
The old saying you make your own luck in football.

Highlights are so bad these days, basically shows the goals and a few chances, none of the time wasting and midfield play. Barely a few mins long. So much is missed by not watching the full game.

Seems they all over the place, last one I had to go on iplayer. What was going on with our keeper hitting it at a player and twice in the game, hopefully she learns from that. Good win regardless. We seem to be having players coming back now as well.

Long goal kicks, injury, holding the ball on the ground for ages.

Yeah the difference now, its actually getting coverage outside of foxes talk.

Guess its on iplayer?

Forum probably would have crashed.

Yep., Pearson would be rejected today.

We learnt how to shit house a win, great time wasting, Ayew, Stolarczyk, Justin, Daka. -
We build a training ground fit for Barcelona and co, but we are not and never will be at that level, then impose budget constraints on bringing in appropriate level coaches and players. Its very clear to see its a failed strategy. Sorry if it hits hard, we are not "the biggest clubs". The delusional is across the recruitment as well, giving out 70k a week contracts at championship level.

Man City mastering long ball and counter, Haaland what a player with long balls. Given Top is obsessed with how they play, hopefully he is noticing tippy tappy is out of fashion now. Fair play to Pep as well for admitting to the press that tippy tappy falls apart once teams stop fearing you.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Chrysalis replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
You havent been proven right at all, every argument I have seen trying to support the first argument has no credibility or rational thought process. Now you trying to claim our results nosediving after Cooper left proves he is a crap manager. If Cooper is crap how do you rate Ruud with his 7 losses in a row and unable to score? -
Seagrave contributes to the attitude. If I signed for a club with the training ground, I would feel I have made it and dont need to work as hard. The training ground should have only been a consideration after sustained success and competing at the highest level, we won a trophy and suddenly thought we were elite. Its only merit is it might help us attract players, both for academy and first team, as its the day to day place of work for players. But the former doesnt mean much as academies have no real protection for their investment.

If you think hard enough you will realise the flaw in the vision, you cant supply it with a constant flow of elite players when you not an elite club.

So the article got edited? thats pretty much proof there was something in it in my opinion, that sort of thing happens when a threat is made to the publisher/reporter. Maybe Percy was to be cut off if he didnt do it. -
In all honesty, what I would do if put in the position is to enact a regime/culture change. All members of the squad would be asked to volunteer to a big wage cut, doesnt matter who you are or your history at the club, anyone agreeing is kept in the squad for the following season, the rest are ghosted, not registered in the squad, not at training, they are told they free to find another club, and we will release registration to allow it. We would bring in new players to fill the gaps from the lower leagues and lesser known foreign leagues so they can have a low starting salary, and the aim would be to make contracts as long as possible, meaning better resale prospects and less pressure to recontract successful players to a higher wage. Seagrave would either be sold, or downgraded so its a less pleasant place, it shouldnt be a holiday camp, players should not be feeling "they have made it", ironically Enzo claims he is fighting that same issue at Chelsea. We want a low wage "hungry for more" squad. This then gives leg room for transfer fee's, the ability to flex in transfer market etc.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Chrysalis replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Maybe but I dont think we lose 7 games in a row under Cooper, we all have different opinions on what would have happened, but one thing we cant argue with is the actual results and PPG. Ruud's one win came when the team played very differently to how he wants them to play, so basically under his preferred style (and top's) no wins. -
Our offer of 220k a week wages turned down by player.
