  1. Its been handled very poorly, we did a self imposed transfer embargo only to fail anyway and then get relegated, apparently Rodgers survived so long for the same reason, it didnt click in someone's head, not sacking would lose more money from our finishing position. Sold KDH, even though the punishment wouldnt happen until we next back in the EFL. The problem with the original breach is we were "stuck in the middle", we either should have complied, or just adopted a **** it attitude. It seems we suddenly became indecisive, which is the worst thing you want from leadership of a entity. Bear in mind a breach is a breach, it doesnt scale with the size of the breach, we know as long as the club stays out of admin, it can not have a deduction higher than what you get for admin, and we know there is a small deduction for been cooperative, so the reality, is it would never be something stupid like a double digit penalty, and a sufficient squad would easily be worth more than the size of the penalty. The only thing that explains the behaviour rationally is we actually have cash flow issues, and PSR is a good cover for it. The pay day loans is an indicator of that as well. So for me I would have accepted a comply or **** it approach, the reason I have an issue is the indecisiveness and this trying to comply when we failed thing. Sadly we led by a man child.
  2. Rumours are MCD have had to close a 24/7 drive thru as Rudkin since 11pm has been negotiating a big mac meal.
  3. It is defensive, the same argument is used to justify keeping managers "but there is no one better". You simply dont know, and it is defeatist. We have probably the worst leadership problems right now I have observed during my time following the club which is a period in excess of 20 years. That is how bad I think things are. You have set the bar very low if you think there is no improvement out there. The owner also doesnt need to be a billionaire.
  4. Sounds like a defensive question to me, there is plenty of people on the planet, there will be someone out there that can do a better job leading the club and investing in it.
  5. Either massive positivity supporting the team, or make it uncomfortable for those in the directors box. Dont blame the manager.
  6. Been saying this for a long time, we (rudkin/whelan) are incapable of selling squad players, they only seem able to sell 1st team stars, and that was always eventually going to make us come crashing down to earth, we got carried for a while by some exceptional signings. Massively underperformed on commercial revenue. The plan seemed to be to pay wages we couldnt afford, on the hope of keeping a squad together, without realising you cant stand still in football. Absolutely mental they didnt take advantage of world cup break to change managers. Our scouting gone to crap as well because we have been letting bodies go that were involved with our acquisition setup. Probably typical corporate thinking in they think the company has the value not the people.
  7. Its inevitable, the club serves to promote king power positively, a yo yo club or even worse a club that spends a long time outside the EPL will make them lose interest.
  8. Do other clubs remove banners from paying fans?
  9. I did say we are rudderless, KDH sale was a reaction panic decision like most are now days from the trio. Squad looks to have massive issues, it would be one of the most miracle seasons if cooper pulls it off.
  10. Teams on a upwards mobility project dont sell their best player unless is already a ready to go replacement, out of the things you mentioned, the KDH sale was probably the most damaging. Of course on top of that it doesnt help the trio are frit of the press and the public.
  11. Love the comment in the replies about it been from lockdown period.
  12. Pretty much expected. One of the reasons I didnt want us to sell KDH, as ultimately we dont have the means to plug the gap he vacated, better to just take the risk with the rules on it. But I think KP were more worried about their reputation than our competitiveness.
  13. Yep I have long said everything should be dealt with in chronological order.
  14. Another thing if true is a black mark against Top, a leader would be sorting that out. For whoever is to blame out of the trio, its clear it isnt working.
  15. EPL meetings, football matters, taking calls from agents, football matters, dealing with Chelsea and Manchester united football matters. The story I am been told seems to be like what you just said, all the good things she is involved in, but when it doesnt go well she is nothing to do with it.
  16. We dont know how we will play yet, but that style wasnt going to get us anywhere in the EPL, we got relegated with a better squad when Rodgers made us play pass the ball between defenders.
  17. Were your expectations realistic? We sold our one creative link from midfield to the front. Vardy is injured. My only question I suppose is why was Daka played ahead of Cannon. If this was a tippy tappy manager, everyone would be like he needs time to get the tactics across etc.
  18. Which is it? we keep been told she doesnt get involved in football matters.
  19. They also dont waste it on interest payments. The usual state of play for loaded owners (the ones who are not afraid to invest in their clubs) is to lend it to the club directly.
  20. I keep getting told we and the owners are loaded, so what is this borrowing commercial lark?
  21. The signings dont need to be 20million. A decade ago we would find some unearthed gems and buy them for a million each.
  22. 17th would be a miracle, very disjointed squad, and a incompetent heirachy preventing issues getting fixed.
  23. Whats going on here, a tippy tappy fan not happy? The manager has barely walked through the door, lost the only proper attacking midfielder, and is working under a regime who dont know what they doing.
  24. Just seen was a cooper out thread, wtf.
