  1. Gutted mavididi is off, always capable of magic.
  2. I want early season KDH back, to start shooting when chance is on.
  3. I am curious how close their current form will get them to use, I will do a last 6 form prediction table after the game.
  4. Odd game, I think we have done some pretty good passing, and had time with them pinned back, but we left gaping holes at the back a few times, and Boro are a decent technical team who took advantage.
  5. Wow ball landed at faes and he didnt knows there. :/ 3 mins added time after game was stopped for 5 minutes, what happened to new time stoppage rules.
  6. At least we will probably go for it in second half, if we do its possible.
  7. They have quality in their play, how are they only mid table.
  8. Agree with Strider here.
  9. Leeds sports again this weekend.
  10. The bit about the squad keeping together and how KDH has made it a personal mission to see this season out with us, makes me even more want this squad kept together for next season. Dont sell KDH or any other key Enzo players please. Top, Susan and co will have to make things work without pulling the rug.
  11. The business argument went out the window on the purchasing a new first choice centre back. Probably much more expensive than keeping him.
  12. What was that from the ref.
  13. Watching this without commentators I guess because Sheff Wed too tight to pay for any, can hear how rude fans can be, shouting run when we have the ball e.g. like the players are dogs lol.
  14. Faes, KDH, Vardy, BOOM.
  15. There is a gap issue in the championship but the parachute payments arent the issue. So I do agree with you. The issue is of course EPL in itself has much more TV money, so EPL clubs can build much more expensive squads, and of course clubs getting relegated come down with these squads. Naturally clubs who have been in the EPL for a while will come down with stronger squads as they have been built up with multiple years of EPL money, us, Leeds, and Southampton are all multi year EPL clubs. The parachute money in reality just prevents these clubs from folding, as you pointed out the 3 clubs coming down largely funded from player sales. This is because relegated clubs are coming down with a bloated wage bill, even factoring in relegation clauses. The solution is likely to reform the FFP rules, if there was less or no dependency on turnover then wealthier clubs could invest in better quality squads. The problems that plague the EPL right now with FFP's dependency on turnover is actually fuelling the same issue in the championship. I also think whoever negotiates the tv packages in the championship is doing a very bad job as surely its valued more than what the package currently is. Also if clubs get promoted when they were entitled to further parachute payments (will be the case for us with 2 more years of parachute payments), those payments stay in the EFL, split amongst all the non parachute clubs. The entire EFL structure has a parachute payment system, and if someone is relegated from league 2, they get to keep 100% of the solidarity payment.
  16. The club are free to release a statement(directly with a name put to it, not unsourced leaks to the athletic).
  17. Running out of time when they had started work on the deal weeks before is inexcusable, we seem to time and time again let things go to deadline day and still dont learn our lesson. I expect we will never know the full story on this one, but I wouldnt be surprised if was a case of having no intention of signing him but wanting to keep up the illusion for Enzo.
  18. As you know I like a touch of direct from our game and like hybrid football where we mix up different methods of play, I think this goal was the perfect combination of technical ability, passing movement and player positioning, and it also was in my eyes still fairly direct around 13 seconds from back to goal with precision on every kick, great stuff. Everything from luring one of their players in so a man advantage, a dribble, some passes and a clinical shot. This in the clip is the sort of thing I like to see.
  19. Yes I think it was miscontrolled. We move on.
  20. Brilliant.
  21. You seem a decent team. Gave us a good game I think.
  22. Grinded it out in the end, 3 points. Second goal I loved the movement for the goal. I think our drop off was an energy problem, we still need more fitness in this squad.
  23. We look to have less energy, fitness probably still not where it needs to be, Watford suddenly got energised after that goal.
  24. Great passing movement for our second goal, lovely play.
  25. Half of it is articles that are national but put on the website as filler. Half of the rest is trash articles, probably also as filler. If they want money, they need to become proper journalists.
