Indeed, I think there is an assumption that we have the freedom to just get rid of anyone we want and the money and scouting quality is there to bring in the right replacement, all whilst him not ever playing for us in EPL under Enzo. We going to have to be quite selective on where we try to improve and Vesty is not the weakest part of our team.

If I preferred the work conditions yeah, thats a small cut. Maybe different if on the financial edge. But not in that situation then the quality of the work environment would be just as important or even more important than the pay. For reference I have took pay cuts before, so I have history behind my words.

The best thing about this result, is we going to have a new foxestrust war.

Thought had already left by mutual consent or something.

How was your wedding Top.

Yes Mr Bird its all about this one transfer and nothing else, its not like everything has been hunky dory up until this point. Honestly people can be extremely selective with their memories. But even if it was, trying to defend making a deal multiple times, and then having a player travel over for a medical only to say sorry we dont want you now just isnt on. If we didnt want to take the player because of injury record or cost, then just say no to the deal and cancel it earlier.

Ok Vesty, as you must be him to know what he will do.

The change of old money already spent to equity doesnt mean anything in relation to ambition.

Good negotiators and for some people money isnt everything, or at least could be convinced of that.
-
Then he takes his chances elsewhere, not having a compatible manager.

Problem is the manager will be gone in the summer.

Its a big like taking food to a till in a supermarket, only to have to put it back because cant pay for it.

So its either hoof, or triangles between defenders around our box, nothing in between, I didnt realise the game was that black and white. Ironically football is actually moving to faster transition, our club set the state of things by winning the EPL with lightning transition, and then other clubs started to follow, whilst we were going the other way, Pep, Brighton etc. play with fast transition. For reference I dont have an issue with playing out from the back providing it has an offensive purpose to it, and it isnt overplayed in dangerous areas.

Leeds seem to be on TV almost every week, its crazy how every time I look at sky fixtures they named.
-
which of the 3 muppets made that decision?
-
We couldnt even get a free transfer over the line, absolutely crazy, glad this has got leaked, I wonder now how many of our other late deadline deals we were messing around with changing terms and what not (ins and outs), like a indecisive cat who doesnt know whether to enter a room or not. I can imagine on Rodgers, was lots of indecisiveness there as well for months before the trigger was finally pulled. Still remember a director of a french club saying whelan is very hard to deal with.

You probably right on KDH, although I think its a bad idea.

We have been paying wages above our capability and it has caught up with us. I am also not convinced we actually right at the FFP limits, there is the possibility Top doesnt want or cant fund our sustained losses limit.

One of the issues with have now things have panned out. If a replacement is brought in early, then you know if they settled ok before the sale is made, but if you sell and then buy the replacement in the same window its a total crap shoot. Personally I wouldnt be selling any key players in the summer unless the offer is at least double their value, maguire levels of money and at least 2 weeks before end of window as a cut off point. Whats happening now makes me appreciate the days we were buying young players as replacements 6-12 months early.

Agree also, tight parameters or not, he's been a failure.

I would renew on a cut salary. Its clear we wont have the means to do wholesale changes to the team and Vesty is one of a few players who fits in with Enzo's methods. As to how we deal with lack of pace is another problem to solve, likely done with players around him supporting him, but thats my input.
