  4. I hated the ***** when he played for us.
  5. He's hardly been in the travelodge for long enough. Give him time to adjust.
  6. No game is.
  7. He was knackered though. Could have been a liability. Doesn't matter now though.
  8. **** me. And my wife. how?
  9. Worrying subs there
  10. United were worse than us. Simples. Farce and lurch never tested at all by manu. We were given so much space and time to press Man U. We still looked vulnerable but Man u didn't offer any threat. Thomas was good. Ndidi made a whole lot of difference.
  11. I love Keane's direct honesty. I wish there were more pundits like him instead of the sycophantic dross we normally get.
  12. I'm sick of seeing this repeatedly posted ad nauseum
  13. The difference he makes is indisputable

  15. Trump's plan to impose sanctions on the ICC. "Coincidentally" Netanyahu is wanted by the ICC for alleged war crimes. More importantly, he wants to get rid of cardboard straws in fast food places as they "don't work".
  16. I think they have but is it wrong to have some memorial tribute once a year? I imagine the Hillsborough tragedy will also be wrung out for the rest of time. Which I find less comfortable because of the continuing finger pointing even after the enquiry.
  17. Rightly so IMO. Then make some kind of memorial park on the site like "Ground Zero" in NYC.
  18. But I'm retired. I have all the time, every day.
  19. The goose is offside
  20. Are you on sick leave or something? You seem to have plenty of time on your hands.
  21. Well, "Why Do You Do It" was a revelation. I've not heard it before. "The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan" seems almost autobiographical. And so sad. "Vagabond Ways" moves me as it is so close to my daughter's experience. Along with "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails/Johnny Cash. I've listened to the ones you've mentioned All those songs are so dark and emotionally raw. And quite difficult to listen to. They give me a mental image of someone in the depths of drugs, alcohol, mental illness and loneliness. Which was her life, I guess.
  22. I see you're a fan of his work.
  23. That's almost blackmail, though. Jordan and Egypt have refused to accept any Gazans/Palestinians that could be forced from their "land". And rightly so. Why should they? It's like DT wants to remove any threat to Israel by whatever means and then build golf courses and expensive hotels in their place. Move the shit out and move the wealthy in. Massive money to be made. But not for the people of Gaza, a place that is their home and where their lives are. They're just an inconvenience that needs to be removed. And his claim that the US would be responsible for removing any mines and other left over military ordinance and clearing the devastation Israel has wreaked in order to protect returning Gazans is ridiculous. Of course he'd say that. It's a tactic towards his end goal. Money to be made. He's not a politician. He's a businessman who's only POV is me first, you take it or leave it. And he's always beaten people down to get what he wants. It's not MAGA, it's MDTGA.
  24. This. Bastard.
