Well, "Why Do You Do It" was a revelation. I've not heard it before. "The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan" seems almost autobiographical. And so sad. "Vagabond Ways" moves me as it is so close to my daughter's experience. Along with "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails/Johnny Cash. I've listened to the ones you've mentioned All those songs are so dark and emotionally raw. And quite difficult to listen to. They give me a mental image of someone in the depths of drugs, alcohol, mental illness and loneliness. Which was her life, I guess.
