  1. Walnuts and cracking come to mind. Just in time for Christmas.
  2. I can see post discharge treatments such as physiotherapy being a likely target. I'm not going to get further involved in a deeper discussion.
  3. We used justpark twice on necessary visits to London. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChsSEwiLx7HI5cyQAxXXm1AGHQ91Fx0YACICCAEQARoCZGc&ae=2&co=1&ase=2&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmYzIBhC6ARIsAHA3IkR4RY_yMpHqC0UKqg99jZb0p02zcW6NaIs9u9EWwL6Bnm5tnIEhR1YaAuzrEALw_wcB&cce=2&category=acrcp_v1_71&sig=AOD64_2t0bfEDr98x_mSZyvy3NWv1w-VoQ&q&nis=4&adurl&ved=2ahUKEwjquajI5cyQAxV4WkEAHXatGZoQ0Qx6BAgVEAE Enter the place you're going to and it will locate the nearest/cheapest.
  4. I keep getting targeted ads on here and on the LM site saying stuff about the "benefits" of drinking olive oil every day. I don't click on them but I was wondering if anyone has and what the benefits are, if any. I try to avoid clickbait.
  5. Fear of causing offence to melts. (PS. Could you get more of the word "thread" in the title, please)?
  6. If I may ask, what was the cultural background of the employer? When I was working some Muslim and/or Sikh households would ask us to remove our footwear on entry. It was rare as they regarded us as an exception, but we were obliged by service policy to ask about removing boots before entering the house. Slightly different, we got a plumber in (from a local business) to replace a faulty valve on an over the bath shower. He arrived and it had been raining a little during the day and the ground was wet. He came in, boots on. Walked upstairs, boots on. Stood in the bath, boots on. Couldn't fix the shower as he hadn't got the part. He left saying he'd source one. I phoned the company and told them not to bother and explaining why. We had to clean the bath and buy stuff to clean the stair carpet. Never gonna use them again.
  7. Did you read my post properly? I included the tippy tappy stuff but then went on to say, fast paced breaking from the back and long balls over the top as is Mourinho's and Pep's trademark. But that has morphed into almost total possession football where the fear of losing possession precludes any sort of progressive attacking, front footed style of play. I would ask, why?
  8. And, for me the blame lies firmly at the feet of the man baby. I believe he genuinely isn't bothered about us as a football team/club. The longer he keeps us on his portfolio the more convinced I become that we're being used, maybe money laundering or avoiding paying tax or debts elsewhere within KP. Why would any truly astute businessman keep the likes of us on their books? If one of your portfolio businesses is failing surely you'd sell or bail unless there's an ulterior motive? Who knows, but something might come to light in the future.
  9. My local is 20 mins walk. I'll most likely be face deep in a bag of peanuts. But using the game as an excuse to go to the pub on a Saturday lunchtime is a bonus.
  10. TBH. Aiyawatt has no interest in us. None at all. KP should sell unless we're being used for some kind of tax avoidance in Thailand in which case there could also be a link to the dodgy BC sponsorship. What do we know what goes on?
  11. I'm going to watch it in the pub. Because it legit means I can go to the pub. IYKYK, especially if you're a married man of a certain age It'll be on the screens but I might only take notice if the commentator raises his voice in "excitement" (which is unlikely).
  12. Erm... JV? Maybe?? Gone but not forgotten. Except by you, apparently. (No insult intended)
  13. Two ex PL title winners now suffering the same fate. They must know how we feel but the fans will absolutely rip into us, I'm sure. Fan's hold no favours for each other.
  14. But who noticed? I have a friend who has a box. He says the boxes either side are not unoccupied for the first time he can remember and it seems others are as well. Nobody at the club is taking notice. There MUST be a drop in revenue from vacant boxes and ST's not being renewed that you'd think whoever oversees this income stream would be saying something to the board. Maybe they are and the board can't be arsed.
  15. I blame Mourinho and Pep for bringing in this possession based dull style we all dislike. It might be OK if you're Man City and play tippy tappy but then surge forward at pace on the break, or balls over the top, which is kind of what we did in the title and FA cup wins when we had one of the best strikers in the PL. Those days are long gone and most managers now prefer the possession game. I liken it to a fashion trend. Hopefully, like mini skirts, pacey front footed football will make a come back.
  16. She was great but the script was so good. They both played off each other but Cleese was so much better IMO.
  17. The £750 was spent on the dental treatment for the cat but TBF she does have a certain resemblance
  18. She's old and thin so would only burn for a 30 second flameout. And we've just spent £750 on dental treatment so I'd quite like some return.
  19. One of the things I like about going to bed is the cold sheet feeling gradually warming up with my breath as I cover my head with the quilt and slowly falling asleep. Cosy.
  20. We like to eat al fresco so our 3 patio heaters are on full blast from October to May. And the cat likes being outside in the warmth.
  21. No. But the obscenity of this kind of example is odious to many other private sectors that are struggling.
