@Finnegan if you get a moment, would you be able to elaborate on the issues with the WRU? I listen to the socially distant sports bar and have heard the pelters that they get. From what I can gather, there’s an issue with the teenage stage of development, but the U20s seem to be doing okay? Also a call for the four URC teams to be reduced to two? This isn’t a pisstake, I’m genuinely intrigued. Wales are Italy 2000s level of shit, I can’t believe what I’ve watched these last few years.

There needs to be more fans pushing for it. More than just replying to their social media pages.

There’s no pride in our supporter base. The one thing you can change as a fan, is the atmosphere. Even if your team is shit, you can walk away feeling proud of the fans’ effort. We’ve had our most successful period off the back of a sanitised atmosphere and I think it’s warped the fans minds on how they should back the side.

Agree with the obsession with “banter”. I get there’s not much to sing about currently, but there’s an obsession with the other team. Every away game we sing “football in a library” after about 2 minutes and spend more time trying to bait opposition fans than support our own side.

Also I think there are a few excuses being made. Some of the best football I’ve ever seen us play was in that 19/20 season, but our support was crap.

Timing is a factor. The clappers really are tragic and are almost part of our identity now.

I feel like that’s the way we need to set up. Personally I’d play both Buonanotte and El Khannouss and remove a striker. In isolation, that wasn’t that bad. Chelsea were poor and we had no threat, but it was nowhere near as bad as the last couple of games. It’s too late now though. Bored to death of losing.
