Qualification for Champions' League & Europa League
teblin replied to Alf Bentley's topic in Leicester City Forum
Win tomorrow pretty much means we will finish 5th at least doesn’t it? -
Was listening to 5 live and they had all written us off too. was smiling thinking, I hope the players are listening to all of this.
-
Ayoze has his flaws, but he does this really well. Watch the star of the move.
-
Fair answer. Can’t argue with that!
-
Why wouldn’t you play Evans?
-
Yep, gets unfair stick. We need a winger but Ayoze and Maddison as competition for number 10 role is good. We need 1 or 2 wingers that can got past people. at least 1 CB maybe and LB. and if mendy leaves as back up if wilf is out.

I don’t think the Bournemouth one would be in my top 5(bottom 5)it’s just raw. And Portsmouth I forgot that even happened. 1. Stoke being there and watching them celebrate too. 2. Swindon play off (if ever a game summed up being a city fan) 3. spurs cup final 4. Wycombe game cup 5. Watford not the playoffs but the year we went to league 1, lost 1-0 with Watford down to 10 men. The game where Holloway said “chill out and have a sandwich” best thing other than the Wycombe fa cup game, we have usually bounced back and come back stronger.

Maddison and chilwell definitely out for this?
-
Utd in 98 was about 11 or 12 points.
-
Chilwell isn’t playing so we need a scapegoat. He made the goal yesterday by winning the ball back(which he does quite often) he linked up play well, and playing behind-l a front 2 seemed to be working. 2nd half like all of them he was poor, I personally think he’s done pretty well in the 10 role whilst Maddison has been out. Not amazing but a 7 out of 10. 2nd half they were all a 3!

Right about Walsh. How we could do with someone like him or huth on Thursday. Maybe it’s time for Wes, but worry that he hasn’t played at all for months.
-
In the context of the interview he does but the headline is click bait. he said performances like that are no where near champs League level. We need to concentrate on playing well not where we finish.
-
Elliott over Walsh for me but would be a cracking side.

Why do we always struggle in the big games?

Earlier on in the season we were ruthless. Southampton, Newcastle. It must be a confidence issue. -

interesting list, I guess the 2 Chelsea league games this season are where we should’ve got those big results, it closest to getting them. It’s because we always try to play the same way. man city away and Liverpool at home we should have played mendy/hamza and wilf. Instead we do that against Brighton at home. it wouldn’t surprise me if he did it now to protect the defence. confidence is fragile, especially with some of the young guys, they were let down by their captain yesterday. (Then stupidity by CS) -
Didnt know whether to put laugh or sad reaction!
-
If we beat sheff Utd on Thursday the lowest we can finish is 7th.
-
I bet there is a thread like this about Pearson in 2012/13.
-
Kasper both goals, that doesn’t happen Calgar doesn’t get sent off.
-
NoW let’s finish 3rd!
-
I want to finish 3rd anyway
-
I think wingback suits him too.
-
Him and Perez did very well.
-
That’s what thought too.
-
Spot on, I can’t believe they didn’t mention the push or look at it for the penalty. Anywhere on the pitch we get a free kick. shame nacho didn’t take his 2nd chance.
