Hello I've been struggling for some time now, various reasons. I am very lucky that my immediate family are supportive. Next year I will be turning 50, this doesn't bother me as it is just a number. I decided to create a list of 50 things to do before 50, the list is only small things which some i have done many a times but what i want to do before i turn 50. I have created a website basically putting down some of my thoughts and a little bit about me, this is almost my own therapy due to me being a stubborn git and not asking for help. Please feel free to take a look, it is very text heavy and the gaps next to the list is my idea of a panini sticker book where once i've completed the task I add a photo. https://sites.google.com/view/50-before-50/home Thanks

I live on the isle of wight and left home at 3.30am this morning to watch it. Waited for ages and then when the team got on the balcony, didn't see a thing. However my son loved it, climbed the sports statue and enjoyed every minute. Wasn't expecting 5 buses though!!!!!! Brighton, Bournemouth and maybe Southampton for away games next season with a splash of travelling up for home games

Smutsathon- CM0102 Charity Stream For Baby Loss Awareness Week
Cruss5 replied to General Smuts's topic in General Chat
Its great to see on a football forum we have so many people who can speak openly about situations. My first son Thomas was born 12 weeks premature and lived exactly 8 months old to the day. In fact it will be 18 years tomorrow since he passed away in my arms. Never did i think that i would have to carry my son's coffin into his funeral or have to make a decision to switch his machines off before watching him die as i held him. For many years i refused help of any kind whether it was through medicine or mental help. Having to put up with the comments of having more children have helped fix it and family not bothering to ask if we are ok on certain days. However after suffering more and more into depression i decided to get help and felt the best way was tablets to help me think better and take that black cloud away from me. After 18 years i still have anger about what if and every day i still miss him so much. But i have always talked proudly of Thomas, telling people how proud i am of him and hope he is proud of me. Sorry for the long post but events like this are great, it makes people aware and hopefully brings out fathers who have gone through a similar situation to speak out and realise that support is out there. I would love to participate at the same time but unfortunately i have work and they would more than likely sack me for playing champo all day. However when i finish work then i'm going to get onto the 02/03 season or 03/04 and play the shit out of it. I have never used the death of Thomas as an excuse, but i have always said the same thing. Pain is relevant, if all you have suffered is a broken finger nail then your reactions to that are no different to something far worse. You can only react to what life throws at you. -
9/11 I was on my honeymoon in Zante. We went for a boat trip out to the shipwreck. I'm not a very strong swimmer and nearly drowned, had to get a boat out to rescue me. Got back to the bar and couldn't keep my eyes off of the TV. Wasn't quite sure what was going on as on Greek TV. Sitting on the beach a couple of days later and 3 jet fighters flew over. Scared the living daylights out of me. Scary thing was when we chose our honeymoon it was either New York or Greece!!!!

Look it the other way. We buy good up and coming players, they learn and improve with us and we sell on with massive profits. From a players point of view that would be a fantastic opportunity and reason to sign for us. Chilwell apart, the other big names that we have sold have been massive financially for us. Kante/mahrez/drinky/maguire - close to if not more than 200 million profit. And without making us struggle with results. I'm sure maddison/tielemans/gray (profit wise)/Soyuncu will all be part of that in the future. Regardless of what happened at the end of last season, we did make improvements from the previous season and our next aim should be champions league qualification. If we can do that with selling a player a season then great, time to worry is that nobody wants to buy our players. We still need to be better on buying though, Slimani/musa/ghezzal etc. But even that could be worse Heller/Joelinton

Take a look on the Man U forums. They see us winning and them having to rely on the Europa League. I'm looking forward to it. Regardless of the past 6 months we are a win away from champions league, we are Leicester City. Enjoy these times as things could change so quickly as we all know. Come on City
-
The beauty is that it is in our hands still. We win and we are at least 4th. But we could still finish 4th if losing at spurs all depending on what the man u scores are. Still a great position to be in. Fantastic performance by all, this team beat chelsea 3-0 and we didn't give them a chance. If barnes could finish then 4 or 5. But he got into the positions and worked well with vardy. Also if he passed off to perez on one chance it was a certain goal. Exciting stuff
-
I know vardy doesn't get the service but he has stopped running to create space. Had the chance tonight to drag his man with him but didn't bother. Frustrating
-
Man City seem to have a nice steady start to the season, 1 top 6 team at home for the first 3 months. But they will slip into 2nd place behind us after we beat them in December!!!

A you tube video shows the copter leaving the stadium and people walking to the copter. Not sure how real it is. A slight hope that the silence from the club could mean that survivors are being treated in hospital, prayers to all involved with the club. Reading tweets from other clubs and fans are what upsets me. Lets hope in all of this a miracle can come out of it, however small it maybe.
