  1. He extended at Palace recently I think!
  2. Hope he does well there, seems a nice lad and I think he'll carve out a decent career for himself. Needs to get over his fear of wingers, though.
  3. Bit of a weird question @deejdeej but how does your sweat feel to the touch? I noticed a weirdly sort of granular / sedimentary feel once when rubbing my hand over my face after a run, apparently all to do with sodium intake / loss so @Bellend Sebastian crisp suggestion might be the ticket!
  4. Give over, he's not a world beater but he's nowhere near the worst footballer in that United side let alone *ever* in the history of the sport.
  5. Isn't it us? Or WBA?
  6. This has been rubbish
  7. I just think Man City's badge looks really cheap. I don't know why, and I get it's historical nod but something about it just seems crap. Perhaps because it started the trend of those lined roundel badges with non-bespoke sans serif typefaces so now it looks ten a penny.
  8. That'll be crap for them, I remember them wanting to move to Clifton a while back (might have even been part of our 2018 world cup bid). Toton is just as bad, a lot of reliance on their trams to get to / from for home and away fans that don't drive to the game. They're a bunch of tossers but the location of their ground is second to none.
  9. That Paredes is the most panto villain looking guy going.
  10. I wonder if Kane's career would look a bit different if he had a "proper" agent. I hate the notion of it but I don't think he's played the game particularly well.
  11. Mad how fundamental issues like actually admitting wrongdoing and showing remorse can shape your opinions on people isn't it!
  12. Foden / Palmer / Odegaard have all been phenomenal this season.
  13. I get it, but the examples you've cited are never aired at the expense of their regular counterparts so the "this would be even better with celebrities" thing doesn't really work? They're meant to be fun alternatives to, not upgrades on.
  14. You're generalising when it's not a blanket thing, that. Raith Rovers fans, sponsors and women's team didn't forget when they thought it'd be a good idea to sign David Goodwillie.
  15. The only ones who will "forget it" will be those comfortable with it in the first place. I wouldn't be able to support the club if we signed that player.
  16. People read it correctly the first time round.
  17. Yeah I like him, think his attitude is brilliant and he’ll carve out a very successful career, probably on the continent - but we can’t afford to spend ~£10m on someone who’s proven to be a useful squad player at most.
  18. I know they have - they doesn't really change my point? I don't think that game should be used as a yardstick for our quality. We weren't very good.
  19. I like the sentiment but Chelsea battered us and should've been out of sight before they conspired to score a ridiculous own goal.
  20. You're incorrect I'm afraid. They might never have won the title but they're not minnows, they have the 4th highest wage spend in Germany. In the last 15 seasons, they have failed to qualify for Europe once. It's a phenomenal achievement but it simply isn't comparable to what we did given both respective starting points and divisions.
  21. Glasner doing a superb job but in that coat he looks like an auntie in a garden centre cafe and I can't get over it.
  22. I agree with the sentiment but if you're presenting Ten Hag's Man United and Brendan Rodger's 21/22 Leicester as sides West Ham are more exciting to watch than, it might mean they're a bit flat.
  23. The Moyes / WHU situation suits all parties, I think. Moyes leaves with his stock higher than it's been since he got the United gig, gets out of there before it becomes toxic, and West Ham can freshen things up before they go stale. Whether Lopetegui is the right appointment or not I don't know, but I don't think looking to replace Moyes while thanking him for his service is necessarily a bad move.
  24. I don’t think they do!
  25. Jacob Greaves will play for England in the next two/three years - if we don’t get him now on the way up then we probably never will.
