Premier League 2025/26 Thread

Reckon we dodged a bullet with potter. -
He needs to grow up and stop sulking as he can only be reacting to social media criticism because he has faced no animosity in the ground, and as such he should respect those fans that want to support him because if he continues to behave how he is that will soon change.

Wasn’t he our record signing at the time? £350k. -
Filbert Street demolition pictures
Vlad the Fox replied to Ryanlcfc3's topic in Leicester City Forum
I can remember Harry Redknapp saying on footy focus when I was a kid that Filbert Street was the most intimidating ground for him to go to. The dug out was in the stand (pre carling stand) you could stick your head in and hurl abuse at the players and manager, and I lost count the amount of times I saw the corrugated plastic on top of the dug out get smashed when someone would be smashing their fist on top of it. -

Leicester to appoint Martyn Glover as head of senior recruitment.

It’s either Glover, or Glover working with rudkin or Top previously wanted a say in everything and they’ve told him he has to back off and let them get on with it. Whatever, something has definitely changed this summer. -

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Just a thought, but next season we’ll lose a number of players who are out of contract so we will need to spend to rebuild the squad. In 3 years time this summers dealing will drop off the psr cycle. Does dropping the £25m into next years books protect us from next years spending causing us psr issues further down the line? -

Exactly, he isn’t getting a ticket unless he signs up for a membership and I can’t see him doing that. -
9 goals in his last 24 shots, not a bad conversion rate. Some howling misses though

I just wonder if whoever is doing our negotiating this summer is finally playing the games that rudkin never did. Palace messing us around trying to get him cheaper hence we announce actually we don’t need to sell him now, balls back in their court. -
Wouldn't be surprised if the club leaked it to the sun. Absolves them from blame for the lack of signings knowing that people will now blame the efl instead.
-
Desire and work rate so much better today.
-
The add ons are for Ipswich. If he makes 15 appearances we have to give them 11m back. Classic Rudkin.

Just a thought that occurred to me when reading this but didn’t KP transfer the shares to top who is now the sole owner, not KP? Could this be a move to ensure that if the business goes tits up they’ve got a sizeable asset not tied to the business that can’t be touched and as such an asset they could sell to ensure the family still have plenty of money? And I suppose the plus side to that is we’re protected from the vultures if the business does go pop.

Fans need to come together on this. I see the people who have stopped going having a go at those who do when in reality they’re doing as little as the ‘happy clappers’. If they feel so strongly back up their ranting on here (which is achieving nothing) and do something, turn up at the ground on match days and stand outside the main entrance with banners protesting or stand outside the training ground/put banners up. Get photos and post them on social media. Stop belittling other supporters and take action together because this split only weakens the protest. Because those fans in the ground making noise against the ownership are doing far more than people shouting on the internet.

Weren’t Chelsea charged with making secretive or overseas payments to players? Isn’t that an offence punishable with a points deduction? That charge seems to have just disappeared.
-
Maybe a small start but I think there’s enough in L1 (maybe k) and UFS to do a 10 minute boycott. Invite anyone else in the stadium to join in but if we could at least empty those two sections it will raise more awareness.

I’d remove the ‘khun’, it’s a term of respect.

Just when we thought we were finally safe from a ward.

The club is ran like a Sunday league outfit. There's people within the club who wouldn't be surprised if we're in another relegation battle.
