I hope he does well too, I think he’s got the right personality for the type of manager we usually love so hopefully he succeeds. We’ve all seen pre seasons where we smash everyone then flop and pre seasons where we’ve looked poor then sailed to promotion or do well, what was the pre-season like before we won the prem? It all comes down to what the management team are working on or looking at.
-
It’s pre season, there’s so much going off, trying different things, different positions, fitness, formations and scenarios that it’s pretty pointless trying to read too much into it until maybe the last game. It’s just an excuse to watch some footy in the sun. I can remember one pre season match a few seasons back that people were moaning about the players not looking fit and it turned out we’d had a full training session in the morning.
-
I reckon we put our bid on the table and left it there a couple of weeks back which is why nothing new was reported for over a week until roma decided to get close to it.

Looks like a nice evening in Sicily.

In-bowl experience? Yeah, sometimes I feel like a spider in the bath tub.

Concerns about the direction of the club
Vlad the Fox replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
It was a pre season friendly, stick a veo camera up and live stream, most people would have been happy with that. Regarding the cost of a Veo camera, the club already has at least one. I’m sure Shrewsbury do too. -
Thanks, it feels like it’s something else they want out the way. They'll redesign the stadium with memory to Vichai but will neglect or push to the side the memories of those that supported the team long before they arrived who when buying those bricks were led to believe that they would be a permanent part of a structure that would stand for decades and more. My kids never met my mum but it’s something I can take them to, gives them a connection to her.
-
Wouldn’t it be best for them to remain on the outside of the stadium? I don’t sit in the part of the stadium where my mums brick is (she passed away 20 years ago), I’ll often walk round the stadium to see the brick give it a touch and a “come on City”. If it’s inside I won’t be able to do that or see it, I can’t be the only one, in fact I would suspect the majority of the brick owners and families are the same. In fact if it’s inside it’ll become a forgotten feature, at the moment it’s outside proud and very noticeable

It’s so sad, I’ve heard other people saying similar too.

What about the west ham team that went down with James, Cole, Defoe, Di Canio, Les Ferdinand, Johnson amongst its ranks. -
When you put it like that it makes you realise what a cold and lonely world we’re heading for.

I might take them up on the invite and go down there, spend the day being incredibly dumb and keep getting it wrong before triumphantly marching out “no, no, no, it’s not for me”.

Two seasons, then the betting ban comes in. I think. -
None of these links have said anything new for over a week now.

This is what it would have been like if the internet was around during ceefax’s glory days.

That’s a great goal…

True. Imagine the power the supporter base could have if they stopped being so tribal. Stopping Monday evening kick offs, first game of the season all being Saturday kick offs, tcket pricing, 39th game the list goes on.
-
Or just for the laughs at the meltdown from the away season ticket holders every team drops their price to £20.

Grudge match. We've just organised it so we can have a brawl.
-
Doubt it, Shrewsbury is listed as our next match on the website.

It's almost like a bunch of clubs got together at the end of the season and said 'how can we fuch over the supporters next season'
