No not in the end/yet. My daughter has had an appointment with cahms, and we’re trying to get her education sorted, there’s a lot in the pipeline but nothing moving fast. My wife did say that adhd and autism 360 are meant to be one of the more reputable ones however. She’s the one who’s really clued up on this and is the one fighting for things for my daughter and son.

Download the Leicestershirelive app from the App Store it’s a much better experience without the adds crashing the site. -
In that case they should stop wasting money on teacakes. All the money is in the caramel wafer.

Did it 15 years ago so he could enjoy watching the player he’s named after.

If we were in the prem that would have been enough for var to disallow the goal for ghoul play.

Great goal by man u but still not as good as Muzzy’s all those years back.

I couldn’t make it today so followed the action on the match thread and bbc sports app, you can’t imagine the images conjured up when the live text reported that “Vestergaard caught offside from Mavadidi through ball” Fair play to him though, treated like shit by the previous manager but has come in and been superb, one of the first names on the team sheet now.

It’s poor from RL, sport must be one of their biggest pulls and the cutbacks they’ve made will only drive away listeners, which will lead to further reductions in the sports show. They’re on a downward slope.
-
The shared broadcast is shit, surely sport has the biggest listener numbers for the station so making cut backs to it is daft as it will drive listeners elsewhere which will then lead to further reduction of the sports shows. Its a downward spiral.

I’ll often go sleep at night listening to something off bbc sounds, a drama or something and quite often have some great dreams where I’m involved in them as they are playing in the background. -

Yes I saw that, really enjoyed the show and I’ve listened to his podcasts as well. Don’t think it was ultra sound mind, just me and my mate freaking each other out -

Years ago I used to do a job at an old vicarage that had been turned into offices I was told a story once from before I worked there of the staff coming to work one morning finding all the lights on and doors unlocked, they rang the cleaners to find out if they had anything to do with and they’d said the place is haunted and something seriously freaked them out enough for them to flee the place. They refused to ever go back and gave up their jobs. While was there we employed some new cleaners, I never told them this story but one day they asked me if the place was haunted, (I’m sceptic by the way) I told them there were stories but had never seen anything myself, they said they thought it was but it didn’t really phase them. There was a third floor to the building which was rarely used which you’d have to go up a dark staircase to and for some reason you always got the fear if you ever had to go up there, I’d imagine just your mind playing tricks but my mate felt the same. The only thing that did happen to me though was one night turned out all the office lights and locked the doors starting from top to bottom. When I switched the hall light off to go out the front door I noticed a light from upstairs, went back up to check and one of the offices lights was on and the door open. Convinced myself that I must have missed it but at the back of my mind I’m certain I had as I went through the same routine every night. Wooooooh -

The incident I posted above being trapped under the bed sheets and having someone poking my foot was similar, I was absolutely awake and while scared at the time it never concerned me in the morning or ever since, when I read the article about sleep paralysis years later it made perfect sense. -

I remember when we were kids me and my brother used to think there was a “naughty” ghost that loved upstairs in our house. I remember once running up the stairs one night and as I got near the top seeing this figure run along the landing. However the most scary thing that happened was one night I was woken up by my mum and dad going bed, I could here them in the bathroom, I used to sleep with my head under the covers so tried to put my head above them but something was holding them down and I couldn’t get my head up, also I could feel like someone’s figure poking in the bottom of my foot, I was trying to scream for my mum and dad but was so scared nothing came out. My brother in law once used to live in an apartment in an old converted pub on Loughborough road, he said he woke one night to find and old man stood at the side of the bed looking at him. I decide to try and investigate this, to see if anyone else had reported any ghost activity in the area, I didn’t find anything but did come across an article on sleep paralysis which most likely explains both of the above stories. -

Kids can say some scary stuff. I remember when my eldest was about 4, we were driving somewhere, we drove past a particularly old house and he suddenly got excited pointed at it and shouted “I used to live there”. -

Sky Glass - streaming TV with no satellite dish
Vlad the Fox replied to davieG's topic in General Chat
Thanks, I’ve got sky q at the moment and the lack of recording is something I don’t think I’d like, what was the picture quality and sound like? I’ve read it’s gone through an update which has improved some things. -

So, has anyone gone ahead and got this? What’s it like? -
Hopefully he can step unto the breech tomorrow, if called upon.

Personally don’t think the refs have been much worse than when in the prem with the exception of the one game when he seemed to miss two blatant penalty decisions, one each so that backs up the evens itself up regiment in one match. On the whole though I can’t think of any glaringly obvious mistakes that would have been changed by var and don’t miss the stoppages we’d have had for numerous goals that would have been checked endlessly for offside and as such killing the game. I remember reading something before var was introduced saying that refs got something like 96% of decisions right, they anticipated var would improve that by 2/3%. Is it really worth all the disruption, cost and killing the very moments of euphoria we all crave for 3%?

The whole point of football is scoring goals, there’s many different ways and styles of getting it there but the one thing we all crave is that hit, high or rush of elation when the ball hits the back of the net. VAR kills that moment of pure unbridled jubilation and as a result part of the game has died, I’d not realised how much it was spoiling my enjoyment of football until this season.
