I love MON. He’s one of our all time legends and I fell in love with that team completely. Many of those guys are still my favourite players and I loved everything about MON when he was here. I still think that team that beat Sunderland 5-2 (before everything fell apart) is the biggest “what if” I’ve ever seen. We looked SOOOOOO good that day. If he came back I would love it. But also. It’s probably a terrible idea isn’t it? He’s too old and been out for too long. A relegation battle in the championship is not the same as a few weeks at Celtic. And I don’t think he’d even want to come, he doesn’t need the stress. Love him, always will. But he should probably steer clear.

Was on my way to work this morning and saw a robin. Makes you think, really makes you think. Then the radio randomly skipped channels and my wheels felt a bit skiddy. It was ok, nothing too scary but for a second, you know, I was like “phew”. And it’s funny because yesterday I had cheese. With crackers. And I like just a very fine spread of mango chutney on it. Keeps things interesting and it really makes you think you know. So then yeah, like my brother was saying about how like you know like when you wake up and can’t get back to sleep and how it always reminds him of 1987 haha. And I was always so insistent on not jumping any queues. So all that really makes you think you know. And I don’t need to spell this out really as it’s obvious but all that got me to thinking about how if we won today it would be pleasant. Then I heard this new song on the radio and can’t remember the name but it was one of those songs where you can’t tell if it’s crap or genius. I’m leaning towards crap. And yeah like you said, you just really never know. You never know. Makes you think.

Yeha as I say I like him. But we really need a goalscorer which he hasn’t really ever been. For what it’s worth at the right wages I’d gladly take him.

I mean, I always quite liked him but to be fair, even at his absolute peak he only scored more than 10 league goals in a season once in his entire career and that was in the championship.

I think I just rate volleys, dribbling, top corner screamers, etc. more than punts from the halfway line. I understand I’m probably in a minority and I might not be “right” but it’s a personal preference. It’s an amazing goal, amazing. But I can think of lots that I personally preferred.

Amazing goal, amazing result and brilliant to see the spirit. But I don’t think it’s close to being the best goal we have ever scored in my opinion.
