He is what he is. He’ll be decent next year I have not doubt, it was just always ridiculous that he was our marquee signing. Why we try to deal with Levy at all is the real question as you can almost guarantee any deal will be a bad one
-
Vardy is quite sharp ain’t he? Not sure many would realise the whistle needed to be blown haha
-
Because our fans forget that he’s 23. He came through earlier than he should have and we all forget that the last few years are development years. He still has potential to have a very strong career

I still actually have faith in Glover. But thats because of players that seem to be obvious manager requests, rather than a scout suggestion. If cooper or maresca specifically request a player then it’s harsh to blame Glover. Over the last 2 years the ones that stand out are- Bad signings cooper: ayew Reid skipp (possibly Glover was involved given the price) Bad signings Maresca: casadei doyle (wasn’t as good as expected) Bad Signings Glover: Coady (but that assignment was to find a leader… maybe harsh to judge) Okoli Unknown woyo When you consider we’ve signed fatawu, Mavididi, hermansen, bilal, yunus, buonnanotte and turned a profit on cannon. I don’t think the scout is the problem, it’s the direction from the club. Focusing on prem experience whilst playing in the bargain basement with no lure… that was cooper or the clubs authorized direction. Last year gives me enough of a hope, that he knows what he’s doing and can flourish, as long as the club gets someone in who wants to move in the right direction

Development/Youth Squads 2024/2025 Thread - U18/U21

You don’t need to be a unit but to play the position he plays, in the way that he plays, it’s almost essential that he has good strength. Or he will get bullied out of games. I just think if he went up a weight level you’d get one hell of a player. Obviously you have players like kante who don’t need weight because of the acceleration and tenacity but when I watch him play, the skills he uses will lead to a lot of contact. If he is going to carry possession and try to drive forward I just think he needs to go down the KDH route and build up the strength to hurdle challenges and stay composed under pressure -

Braybrooke looks to be regaining his form, hopefully he can get a good pre-season in with us and push on. I still have a sneaky feeling he will end up the best of the lot. when he starts to fill out a little, he will start to make big strides in his development -
i agree with Kristiansen. We forget he’s still young and was part of a disfunctional back line. He wasn’t good enough but that doesn’t mean he can’t improve. He’s one of the few that I wonder if a year in championship would improve him. He essentially skipped the standard loans people his age would get. All comes down to his mindset though as if he doesn’t want to be here then we don’t want him.
-
I know I’ve got to whisper this very quietly…. But is he actually that good with his feet? I swear our fans just got stained by how often kasper kicked it out of touch.
-
So championship clubs have voted for a system that will brutally rip apart a club that get promoted and actually try to bridge the gap by spending. Yet people wonder why the task of staying up after promotion is so tough? In this example, had a club done what forest had done and still go down… they’d be hit with a mallet and never return. nice one efl

Is quite some feat that they managed to find someone that makes Abramovich look like the better guy. Chelsea are a vile club. you can hate arsenal and spurs as much as you want but at least they are proper clubs. Chelsea is the biggest stain on sport there’s ever been and were the first to start the money washing trend, so always will be in my eyes. Nothing they’ve achieved was based on merit

Not a pool we will be shopping in. it’s not like a player where they’ve wasted time, a coach isn’t negatively impacted by managing in a different league. However, anyone out there, has gone for money and won’t be coming back for a low or reasonable amount

U21s To Compete In Hong Kong Soccer Sevens

My memory might be slightly off, but I swear one year we randomly sent waghorn along to this -
Ben Nelson - loan to Oxford United - Official

There comes a point where the punishment is better than trying to comply. -
We have but typically because we want cash for a transfer. Pulling out a loan like this for our regular expenses is far more worrisome
-
We have a cash flow problem and that’s what’s most worrying about that move.
-
Nobody would pay him what we would. Thats different
-
Even the staunchest defenders of the club, that felt loyalty due to our previous success, must see that we need change. Even if I loved the bloke and felt he’d been previously amazing I’d still want him out after the last 3 years. Like In a world where we only won the title and fa cup because of how amazing Rudkin was…. It would still be time to part ways. If you still don’t see that then you’ve gone beyond drinking the kool aid. I genuinely think Top is a coward, who’s scared to make decisions for himself and he doesn’t want to sack someone his dad employed. He’s dragging us down because he doesn’t want to remove someone his dad put trust in. I feel for him emotionally but he needs to understand that his dad was a ruthless businessman who did what was needed when it was needed
-
I think this would be about as safe of a bet as we could go for. Obviously there are some question marks but overall he’s done pretty well. Im surprised the verdicts on him are so harsh on his prem experience considering it would have been a huge achievement for Norwich to stay up and at least he pulled off a win against man city, that’s more than anyone has done at any of the 3 promoted sides this season.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
Lambert09 replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Yeah you’re not wrong on that. I think a lot of the gaming community are just impressed that such a small team just made a passion project that looks like a huge studio made it. Certainly not a typical goty contender but a refreshing change of pace -
Worst thing you've done in a job without being sacked?

What’s funny about a local forum like this, is there are some bosses sat on here reading and thinking ‘wait, I had an employee who someone said they saw wanking once’ -
Wow certainly didn’t feel like he got that many. Play on then
