  1. I wonder if there’s a relegation clause in that deal or we still get the full wack? Surely given how dodgy they are, they had no negotiating power.
  2. Cooper set us on a direct course for relegation, Ruud just couldn’t fix it. The two are not the same
  3. Without being too cynical, I don’t think there’s much chance they’d be signing him as a right back for the prem.
  4. I’m glad tbh. Keep him quiet for as long as possible

  6. It was well publicized at the time that enzo was calling casadei persistently convincing him to sign. Sensi was again obviously an enzo call, we also went for THB before he opted for southampton and supposedly tried for Shea Charles as well. They may have not signed but theres enough to see a trend that the manager was at least getting a big say on targets. It seems obvious to me that it is a mix of scouts finding a player with the traits the manager has requested and the managers saying yes or no on it and the manager asking for someone specific
  7. Claudio told the world that Steve Walsh would ring him every day trying to convince him to sign kante. That tells you everything, he wasn’t telling Rudkin everyday, the manager has always seemed to have the final say here. Cooper wanted prem experience enzo wanted technical players Brendan got lost along the way and moved to wanting prem experience after a few bad calls. Under enzo we targeted certain players he knew well. with Brendan half the signed players were under the agency his son works for. Half the reason Rudkin is so bad is because he doesn’t know what he’s doing so overly trusts the managers even when they’re clearly taking us down the wrong path Wheoever we bring in next, needs to be competent with recruitment or we will be failing again.
  8. Brentford are a smart club, if they are interested in mads for 25 it’s because they’ll be getting £35m for Flekken.
  9. For one last huge Vardy moment. He owes us no more joy he’s done it all. But if there was going to be an end to his chapter, scoring goal 200 against forest and stopping them making the champions league would be beyond beautiful In what has been up there with the worst season of being a Leicester fan, with very few moments to enjoy…. This would really give us one final thing to celebrate in his tenure it couldn’t happen could it…
  10. I came on here to suggest this. 22, good stats. Connection through his dad. I’d be more than happy for us to clear out every cm we have and sign players like this.
  11. Theyve still got the best fixtures though. and chelsea on the final day, they will at least have a chance on final day unless we pull out a win
  12. Ruud has the opportunity to do the funniest thing
  13. l mean fair play he turned them around when it looked like it wasn’t possible, same as he did with us during our poor end to the season last year. A good manager is one who can redirect course when things start going wrong and he’s done it twice now. Obviously he still has work to do but if they end up second then you simply have to applaud him.
  14. really frustrating we didn’t get Hamer for 15 in the summer. We would have banked 7m from the skip deal and been far more confident dropping down with him in the team
  15. Josh Maja looked good this season. Don’t think wba would let him leave unless there’s some contract issue i’m not aware of
  16. always starts like this, then what actually comes is an offer of a loan with an option to buy for about €10m which they will only use if some one is interested in buying him for more than that the following year.
  17. Ayew at least resembles a footballer. I’ve seen nothing from BDR that you wouldn’t see down the park on a Sunday morning
  18. he’s very similar to Evan’s really, he can play anywhere. Very much a new age striker
  19. I’m going to keep speaking it into existence … we can get Louie Barrie for 15m! He’d be our number nine for the next 10 years if he didn’t get gobbled up by a big side.
  20. The fact people can debate some of them show that he’s hardly been honking individually. Just been given some pretty poor direction. I think the fact that we were going after someone like Soule and picked up El Khannous gives me a good indication that he does have a good eye and statistics based approach. If what this article is indicating, is that he has the ability to drive the direction of our signings and not be told by Rudkin to aim for ageing experience then I like it. That would be a return to what Steve Walsh used to do and that’s what I want. why hire someone because they have an eye for talent but then corner them into signing x amount of players with prem experience etc. Let him just tell you the best players for the positions you need and that have the ability to do what the manager wants.
  21. Good comparison with Bellingham really, he could play for us next year than at the end of the season move somewhere like dortmund to be a regular.
  22. When Alves got his chance against Watford, when he beat a man the buzz got to him and he just kept trying to beat his man. Understandable of a kid. But when Monga did it today, rather than letting the rush take over he played a really nice ball and moved into the right area. He is going to a be a generational talent. oh and he before anyone jumps in, this isn’t a knock to Alves, just more an example of how a normal teenager would act compared to someone who acts like an established pro
  23. If we’d used vardy for 15 minutes off the bench every game, I don’t think we’d have noticed it wasn’t prime Vardy
  24. Who’d have thought we’d be going into the Forest game as the side with the better form
  25. Hahaha Evan’s has been in the first team five minutes and that look of disgust when Daka couldn’t get it square. He’s going to be immense, I have no doubt he’d have scored if the ball got to him
