It’s clear we only got Cooper in because A) He was cheap B) Nobody else wanted the job I doubt very much that there was much football planning in the decision other than he has Premier League experience.

Nonsense. We’re not a traditional newly promoted side. We’re a club that was well established in the Premier League, had a bad season, and bounced back up. Throughout the squad there are players with significant PL experience, we had a back room team and setup that was premier league standard, world leading training facilities and 32,000 seat modern stadium. We have to stop this rubbish about being ‘newly promoted’. It’s not like Brian Little getting us up in the 90s; we’re an established PL club that was consistently challenging for Europe just a couple of years ago. Cooper is completely out of his depth and will lead us straight back down.

There's around 8 teams competing for Champions League places and another 8 'Steady Eddys'. That only leaves 4 clubs fighting to avoid 3 relegation spots. You can't dimiss the level of the opposition in the Premier League; 'oh, well of course we'd lose to them, they're a top club' - If you can't compete in the Premier League, against all the clubs, you are fighting against relegation.

With Cooper in charge I can’t see us winning a match all season. We have one of the worst squads and the worst manager in the division.
