Possibly come back when Martin goes if it might kill you It’s not going away.

We need to concede soon so Martin doesn’t have time to think Thomas at CB was a good idea

Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager

In fairness though, knowing there's a completely incompetent weird team who will scoop up any duds you sign probably makes your recruitment staff quite complacent. -

No sympathy for their relatives? They weren't all five driving it were they, what do you expect a 17 year old back seat passenger to do about one of their mates being a reckless idiot in a car they're in? Ideally they wouldn't be in the car, but you'd think for at least one or two of them that's going to be all they've done wrong here. There's clearly an awful lot of stupidity in that car. But feeling the need to go out of you way to announce that you don't care about the impact on families who've lost teenage kids? Bit much really isn't it.

He doesn’t employ himself. It’s disgraceful that he’s so lacking in shame that he’s happy to stay in a job that he’s clearly not able to do. And that the clear negative impact he’s having on so many other people isn’t enough of a motivator for him to leave. But it’s entirely Top’s fault that it’s been allowed to go on.

Wolves did it in the 80s apparently -
He didn't really throw the players under the bus at all, and he did accept some degree of responsibility (you can hear it on the BBC article). Don't get me wrong I think his football's tedious and that based on his track record it's only a matter of time until he starts blaming everyone else, but I don't think he did do that here. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/c6p30kdv5041t

Joint fewest home defeats in a League One season with our greatest ever manager, that's surely a good sign

When do I get to start?

‘Massive improvements in track record’ often leave clubs on the precipice of the worst league finish in their history, just ask this scientician

It wasn’t a meeting, it was an intervention. You need help.

Northampton Match Thread Carabao Cup KO 3pm 08/08/2026

Bobby and Stephy are clearly the modern day Drinkwater and Vardy vs. Boro -
You know you really should have a Notts County avatar or find and replace we with Notts, I can't be expected to remember which thread I've opened.

We’ve run out of pens.

Alves and Braybrooke could be playing for a better team than us without it. If we have a talented young player then our options are lose them or **** their knee up, I respect the club’s heartless new direction of injuring children.

I think Huth is the right answer. We had some brilliant over 30 defender signings while Nige was in charge, Bruno Berner, Marcin Wasilewski, Chris Powell
-
Yeah but also only starting 7 games at 22 in Slovenia is a little bit frightening.

Good, anyone who has played for Hansa Rostock and then Rangers is nailed on scum

Nobody needs or wants the small boat crossings more than Farage
-
Well he's joining us

Don't worry, when we're linked with an Englishman I go straight outside and ask the first person I see if they're excited about playing for us.
