  1. I agree Ayew was poor yesterday, set pieces were naff, but there are limited options for the manager with how this squad is applying itself. He's got a midfield that's got no creativity or forward thinking, full backs that are limited - I'm sure he's aware of all the points you make, but unless he's backed in the transfer window, he'll have a pack of cards that contain no aces. There are too many players in the squad that either think they are too good to play at this level, aren't good enough to play at this level, aren't performing or who want to leave. But if you take these out, he's probably got half a dozen players who deserve to start.
  2. So it's Daka to start then?
  3. His passing and composure on the ball is fine, it's just every other aspect of his game that's poor.
  4. Can't believe this, cos if true he wouldn't have started today.
  5. My only hope is that we are not overtly stating who we want, in the hope clubs don't inflate fees. However, the realist in me think the cupboard is bare and we'll have to make do with what we have this season with whoever's left after the transfer deadline passes.
  6. I hope the likes of Page and Aluko would be able cover. What I saw of Page on Wednesday night, he looked better than both Skipp and Soumare. I know that's a low bench mark and it's only half a game, but these are the talents, along with Alves and Monga we should be investing time in.
  7. As we struggle with 11 players on the pitch, I'm not certain 10 will be an improvement. But who knows?
  8. If Choudhury is the level we ought to keep, then yes I'm in for a shock this season.
  9. Yeah, thought that myself
  10. From what I saw of him Wednesday night, he's not L1 standard, well at right back anyway. Never really rated him, runs around a lot, red card waiting to happen and with very low skill set.
  11. In the one League game this season where he played half a game, he looked arsed, in fact I go to say, his performance went a long way to us securing 3 points, which looked most unlikely prior to his introduction.
  12. Unless he's replaced with some one as good, losing Winks would be enormous. Keep him, get him on board and he's integral to our chances of promotion.
  13. So who is the worst out of Skipp and Soumare. If it went to boxing judges, I bet it would be a split decision. Whilst, I've occasionally seen glimpses of ability from Soumare, I can't think of one competitive game Skipp has played well in.
  14. Don't think any of our penalties were great last night, even the one's we scored. Mavadidi's should have been saved and whilst LT's sent the GK the wrong way, it wasn't hit with any great authority. BEK's penalty was a least hit with power, just a little inaccurate (fine margins). However, nothing will eclipse that turd of an attempt by Kermorgant. We fought so well to turn the game around after losing 1 - 0 at home, had a sh1t decision by the ref and he then blows it all with the most arrogant attempt I've seen in such an important game.
  15. Yes, that would work too.
  16. Best 11 this unless Ricardo is fit, and then I'd play him at right back and switch Justin to left back.
  17. I'm not sure where this figure comes from. I'm led to believe the deal was €8m rising to €13m with add ons. I'd be surprised if any of the add ons have been met as yet.
  18. I think many are questioning things, it's just that answers aren't forthcoming. As we all know the lack of communication and transparency, added to the ineptitude and the ability to make the same errors over and over again is inexcusable.
  19. Can only see loans or free transfers incoming. It depends whether or not these could potentially replace Winks and BEK if or when they are sold.
  20. Roman Bednar up top
  21. They could always pick up a Belgian international at a cut price instead!
  22. Plays like Patrick Truman from Eastenders for us.
  23. Top appoints a manager with the directive to get us back to the Premier League, then allows Rudkin to dismantle his team by selling off our best players. I hope the crowd don't get on Cifuentes back when we struggle without any midfield or creativity. It's time King Power either look at LCFC and take it forward with a serious business plan that is based on getting the right people in at board level or sell up and fvck off.
  24. Needs to be managed carefully. I think a few cameo roles as a sub in League games and starting for 60 minutes or so in cup games for a couple of months is the best way of integrating him into senior football.
  25. Yes, but I'm led to believe the niggle he had pre-season was related to the long lay off he had at Oxford.
