Sure the comms said he was the second youngest player to play in the Prem at 15 years and 200 hundred something days!
-
That's disappointing. But wouldn't it depend on the wording of his contract. If it states, that once relegation is confirmed, compensation will only be paid until the 30th June 2025. Any additional years of his contract would be waived.
-
I think we'd have to wait another week if there is a relegation clause in his contract regarding dismissal, otherwise he'd technically get compensation as until it is impossible mathematically not to be able to catch Wolves then we aren't relegated officially.

If Leicester played Leicester we'd still lose.

Whilst I've rarely felt this low about my affection for LCFC (well maybe when we were relegated to League 1), it's still the club I follow. I've felt less connected this year probably because there appears to be an inevitability in the way the club is heading. I'll always have Leicester in my heart and hope to get my match day enthusiasm back. I suppose I ought to be thankful for the last 10 wonderful years (on the whole) and remember how long I had to wait for such happiness the club gave me. Now the lows have returned I feel I need to stick this out in the hope of a better future.

Absolutely. It such a strange argument. It's not the facilities that are the fault, but the mentality of the players. If I had to go to work in the state of the art offices it would motivate me more than having to work in a run down, cold unpleasant environment. There no reason if a coach wants to toughen players up mentally and physically he couldn't get them on a coach, take them to Bradgate Park and give them the Jock Wallace treatment. They might appreciate Seagrave more, then.

What do the players say in the pre-match huddle?

If we stay like this for 45 minutes we'll only be 1 - 0 down at half time. -
Can't remember the year, but I think the game was over the festive period, away to Hull. I didn't thaw out until the New Year ( and I think we lost too)

Strange how times change. It wasn't that many years ago that King Power were voted one of the best owners in a fans poll. Turning point for me was the sad loss of Vichai. Leadership at board level has plummeted since his tragic death.

Putting Your £ Where Your Mouth Is
MGLCFC replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
When we were relegated to League 1, I was angry about how far the club had slipped. However, it was the reset we needed, but it only worked by luck. Nobody could have predicted how Pearson transformed the way he saw the club should be run. This reset ultimately led us to the things we thought we could only dream about. So here we are again, in the same perilous position, so unless Top is prepared to make sweeping changes (and yes if his health permitted, I'd be looking at Pearson as DoF) then we are on the same downward spiral. We should never have been in this position, but a lack of forward thinking, poor decision making, financial mismanagement and planning means the club is in a total mess. I don't enjoy the experience of match days anymore, the atmosphere is toxic, the players don't look bothered or have the ability at this level, the manager is out of his depth and the board is clueless. Reviews, letters to the fans, free beers is not want we want, so come on Top, grow a pair, and remove those responsible or if you are not prepared to do so, move on and let new investors in. -
Oh, I thought the statement referred to Rudkin keeping his job. But that's a certainty too.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
MGLCFC replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
We'll win more than we lose, even if some of the bigger names leave. However, apart from Hermanson and maybe Soumare and Okoli, on this year's showing we may be stuck with a lot of the rest. We lost all our top players when relegated last time and still won the league, winning most games with a weaker team. -

Perhaps the players enjoy playing and winning most weeks in the Championship, rather than losing every week in the Prem. It gives their ego's an inflated boost, rather than showing just how sub standard most are as top level footballers. -
I was of the understanding we signed him for €8m rising to €13m with add ons, which I don't suspect he's reached as yet, although I do agree agree it's rather a lame excuse to exclude a player from the starting line up. I'd have thought he'd be chomping at the bit to play against Arsenal.

Ermm, not sure he'll have time to score four when he'll only be introduced in the 93rd minute.

Season Ticket / Membership renewals for 25/26
MGLCFC replied to skinnydipper's topic in Leicester City Forum
Gave my season ticket up about 7 years ago through ill health. Been trying since to gain enough points to get a new one, but at this point I hope I'm unsuccessful again. I love my club, but feel it's not connected to the fans anymore, both on and off the pitch. -
Rudkin's probably singing to the Toy Story tune, 'I've got a Friend in me'
-
Rudkin's probably gone home already. He may not have been the at the office all day.
-
Shit, but unfortunately true.

These 5 incoming players, 1 for the men, 4 for the ladies
-
He didn't want to come here
-
Remember all the talk about him going to Forest last year - never happened and I don't think this will.

Sad how things change. It wasn't that many years ago our owners came out near the top in a survey of supporters, regarding their overall satisfaction on how well they felt their club was run.
