  1. Yes. Look at Man City and Newcastle's owners. There are people on this planet that have unfathomable wealth. It's all a big game to them.
  2. Cheap left sided centre half could be Lloyd Kelly? Former Bournemouth captain. Apparently Fenerbache are interested in him. Hasn't been at Newcastle long but I'd imagine they'd take a few million. Would be pure profit for them because he signed for free. 6"3, can play left back or centre half and is only 26.
  3. He has 18 goals in 99 Premier League games. Averaging about 6/7 goals a season. That is absolutely crap.
  4. I would say we stood in the dog shit but a lawyer advised that we change our shoes before we walk through the house.
  5. Is that Nick De Marco? because if so he has nothing to do with this.
  6. But that's because we were a ****ing mess in previous years? We got off on a technicality. We should have failed PSR.
  7. What do you mean? We are responsible for keeping within the rules. It's why we've had to tighten the purse strings.
  8. All a result of our own incompetence.
  9. As long as there are gullible people, there will be other people trying to fool them.
  10. Boom boom booom lemme hear you say Woyo
  11. Wonder if the club will release these accounts to the public earlier than they normally would given they're ready to go?
  12. We could sell him before the PSR deadline so that it falls within the same accounting period as any January signings.
  13. I think we're better letting him stay at Stoke on loan than accepting £7m now. I think if he continues to have a good season then he will still be worth that sort of money and with Vardy retiring and Daka being Daka it'll be important that we've either got a striker that we know can score goals at that level or one that will tempt the Championship clubs that can afford to spend £10-£12m.
  14. I don't think we'd accept £7m.
  15. This summer has to be the restart. Especially if we go down. There needs to be a complete reset of wage structure. Get back to focussing on spending transfer fees on young players with potential sprinkled amongst experienced players with a point to prove.
  16. But have they appealed or is it a case that they might appeal?
  17. They've appealed our appeal? I thought the general consensus was that they'd be wasting their time doing that.
  18. Those thinking we will now be able to freely sign players for as much as we like are in for a rude awakening. We'll have got away with this by the skin of our teeth. We're still paying players like Ward, Vestergaard, Coady, Daka, Soumare, and Choudhury over £50k a week. Outside of Mads and potentially Bilal, we won't have the luxury of selling high end players to pay for these wages this summer either. Although it'll be horrible to see him go, it'll definitely be welcome to have Vardy's wages off the books.
  19. I thought this was the 3-year accounting period leading up to 23/24? (As in 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24)
  20. So how can it still be up in the air? Surely this is done and dusted now?
  21. Am I getting this right? Leicester's accounts show they're between the £105m and £83m allowable losses. The Premier League decide not to charge because they think we're entitled to the £105m loss limit. The independent panel that decides punishments has the final say and they may decide that we are only entitled to £83m losses.

I agree with what you're saying I just find it weird that a club can raise and nurture a player and then right when he's on the brink of first team football he (along with dozens of other players) gets pinched for next to nothing by a club with unlimited money to see which of them can make it as a high level player. It's miniscule risk and potentially a massive reward for clubs like Man City and PSG.
  23. It's very likely that the press have been briefed by now.
