If Top *did* sell - who do you think might buy the club?
AKCJ replied to Stadt's topic in Leicester City Forum
The racist, sexist, transphobic, islamaphobic, antisemetic, fabricating, far right, soon-to-be trillionaire lunatic isn't quite the happy go lucky chap you seem to think he is. -
CJ Egan Riley and Joel Piroe on loan.

I do think this is a good shout. A striker that actually scores goals. But he does start most games for Torino and if he's not starting he always comes on.

A football career is usually about 12 years long of earning top money. If you're earning something in the 30-50k bracket then you're not going to say no when some drip tells your agent they want to give you £90k a week for 6 years.

An owner that buys out King Power and then appoints an actual Director of Football would be a massive improvement on what we're currently dealing with. It's hardly a huge ask. -

It's not just his opinion though is it? -

I would be just as against Americans owning us as I would be for a middle-eastern petrostate. -
I just hope that we play with pace and actual fullbacks for a change. Stolarcyzk Ricardo Okoli Nelson Aluko Skipp Page Fatawu BDCR Monga Mavididi

One of the players I have watched play for Leicester City.

Alcaraz is a bit good at tennis.

Big fan of the accompanying article saying essentially all he did here was be a part of the team that won the community shield. He played 18 minutes. 111 games of utter shit. Delighted he’s gone. Forever our worst signing.
-
Any danger of us finding out how much he was sold for or was “we need to communicate better” just another fib? Antony Herlihy has the easiest job on the planet.

I don't mind if they wanna let certain blocks throw Chang all over each other when we go 1-0 up against Preston North End just so long as it's not happening near me.

Alternatively, we're a big club with a huge fan base, planning permission on a stadium redevelopment, the best training ground in the world and a big brand. I think we're ripe for someone coming and buying us for cheap to turn us around. Smart ownerships making clever decisions would have us top half of the Premier League in no time IMO. Look at Newcastle. Yes their owners have spent a lot but they've made consistent good decisions and have left the football to football people. They had a vision/plan and they've stuck to it. They signed Eddie Howe and let him build the club up. A clear winning mentality over a philosophy. We just appoint managers that tell 5"3 that he likes to play like Man City then wonder why the likes of Jordan Ayew can't do it. -

They need to stop allowing so many teams from one country joining and reduce the number of teams qualifying. It shouldn't be anyone's right to qualify. If it was up to me I would let only the winners of the leagues and cups qualify. Make clubs like Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle, Villa, Atleti, Sevilla, Dortmund, Leverkusen, Roma, Lyon, Monaco etc earn their spots in the Champions League by actually winning things. I hate that Newcastle lost 12 league games last season yet qualified for the Champions League in 5th place.

It's more to show that we used to operate well in January and regularly brought in decent players that actually improved us yet since Aiyawatt has taken control the only good January signing was Youri Tielemans on loan and you could argue that because of his poor form for Monaco that it was a massive punt. He is taking everything his Father did well and leaving it to rot. There is no process at Leicester City to anything. It's just Aiyawatt and Rudkin vs the rest.

£50m for that donkey is insane. Palace watched us fall to pieces after winning the FA Cup and said hold my beer.

January incomings under King Power (15 years) Woyo Coulibaly - £2m Harry Souttar - £15m Tete - Loan Viktor Kristiansen - £12m Youri Tielemans - Loan Ryan Bennett - Loan Fousseni Diabate - £1m Molla Wague - Loan Wilf Ndidi - £15m Daniel Amartey - £5m Demarai Gray - £3m Andrej Kramaric - £8m Mark Schwarzer - Free Roberth Huth - Loan Riyad Mahrez - £400k Kevin Phillips - Free Chris Wood - £1m Harry Kane - Loan Wes Morgan - £1m Ben Marshall - £750k Danny Drinkwater - £1m Nathan Delfouneso - Loan Yakubu - Loan Sol Bamba - £250k Diomansy Kamara - Loan Jeffrey Bruma - Loan Danny Uchechi - Loan Patrick van Aanholt - Loan Ricardo - Loan Ben Mee - Loan There's about 5/6 extremely good signings in there but the rest is uninspiring at best. Only 9 January signings since the title win. Only two of those were a success.

All teams playing at the same time is fun but I still don't prefer this method to the old group stage. We have lost 5 teams who play in one of the top 5 leagues out of 36 clubs. We were a goalkeeper scoring a 97th minute goal away from that only being 4 teams. The UCL is needlessly bloated with some really poor sides.

I really do not see the need to allow pints in the stands.
-
I remember massive alarm bells going off when we collapsed in the first game of that season to Brentford at home. Then that week where we shipped about 30 goals to Brighton and Spurs. How Rodgers didn't get the sack for that, I'll never know.

Yeah everything he said made me think he'd actually be good here.
