Quick bit of research (chatgpt ) says that he's a while off of Frank Womack's record of 511 football league appearances for Birmingham without a goal. In terms of modern football it's Tony Hibbert who had 328 appearances for Everton without scoring (but did score in his testimonial ). Not certain but I think Leicester's record belongs to Danny Simpson who went 113 games without a goal. Soumare is currently on 106 so breathing down his neck.

Everything up to this point has been anti-Rudkin. If he was from Coalville but preferred to spend all of his time sitting on his fat arse playing Polo there instead of doing his job I'd still sing that chant.

I don't see why they shouldn't be very confident. Their defence and midfield is about as good as it gets and everyone in their team chips in with goals. They remind me a lot of Mourinho's first Chelsea team where they've managed to build a perfect relationship between individual quality but also a defensive unit that's pretty bloody tough to breach. They've conceded 5 goals in their 17 games this season and have scored 35. They're an extremely formidable side. I would say the only team that'll challenge them is Man City and they're a mile off their best. The Man City that routinely won titles were a lot better than this current team.

Absolutely. I don't trust that we'd do it with Rudkin's team and methods. The club needs an attitude shift and that will only happen when he and Aiyawatt go.

Absolutely but it's not impossible with good scouting. The right attitude and physicality is most important IMO. We can't go up and sign a squad full of wimps with shit attitudes again. We need to target players with a point to prove and those who can (and want to) run all day.

Yep it's literally the only route to success. I could see us getting away with starting Fatawu, James and maybe Stolarcyzk but we'd have to spend north of £100m to survive. Midfield general, flying fullbacks, ultra physical centre halves, brute of a striker (that can score goals) and pacey winger all needed.

Outside of Vardy he's my favourite ever Leicester player. Should have played for England. 14 assists in a side that went down in 03/04. They're KDB numbers and he never had Erling Haaland or Sergio Aguero to aim at.

His cross claiming is genuinely very good. He's very dominant considering his lack of experience. He's a safe pair of hands and will only improve.

Just have to hope they snag 2/3 lucky signings like Fatawu, El Khannouss or James.
