  1. We play a ball retention game that involves pulling teams out of shape. It’s not the exciting counter attack system we players previously, however it’s bloody effective. Guaranteed, we could do with a tad more quality in certain areas. JJ was exceptional pre injury, he’s not become a bad player. I just don’t think I this style plays to his strengths. Swings and roundabouts and all that!
  2. It happens in every game, throughout world football. Teams don’t get thrashed week in / week out. The difference really in between the top of this league, to the bottom in terms of technical ability and mentality is fine margins. This is why on any given day, teams will “cause an upset”. We aren’t going to score every chance We we aren’t going to hammer every team we play We will dominate but won’t score with every chance we get We have players, as does everyone else than can be great, or simply have an off day. We will lose games The difference is we have players that have that extra 2 - 3% quality throughout our squad, that will make us more consistent than 20 - 21 of the other teams in this division, across a 46 game season.
  3. Wing Back ????
  4. He doesn’t want to play within our system is the issue.
  5. Joking aside, Everton have a good chance of staying up, even with a 15 point deduction. If they think they have a CB since of pushing further up the table by an overspend, do they just bite the bullet and pay the £15m to sign him? They’ve shed a lot of wages, it’s just how the accounts look in the back ground.
  6. He’s been disappointing by all accounts for Bologna. That said, if we’ve paid £12m up front for him, then could recoup that, it would be best used to sign Doyle long term.
  7. https://www.instagram.com/p/C2r7tFkoF5W/?igsh=d3ExY2s5bzg5eDRm Soyuncu back to playing with his mate Under then.
  8. Back to us hopefully.
  9. I’m assuming they paid a fee to load him, then covered the wages at best.
  10. More likely going to Arsenal rather than Brighton.
  11. Bayley the winner of the women’s rumble then.

    Badges

I’m intrigued to see which posts got the “Great Post” badge @Mark
  13. We can really only sell him if we’ve got someone like Josh Brownhill lined up.
  14. Bizarre that people aren’t up for the cup. We still have a very talented squad and on any given day, who knows.
  15. Watching the final now ….. What a final table that was.

    The Draft

I’m of this school of thought as well. In fairness, if it did reach a draft stage, I’m in the demographic of not suitable.
  17. The original reason we needed to sell was due to squad space.
  18. Sorry, I was talking from a squad point of view. We’ll be releasing so much in terms of outgoing funds when the likes of Albrighton, Vardy, Ndidi, Iheanacho etc expire this summer, it would be bonkers to sell KDH on the cheap.
  19. So if we need space in the squad, I think we have it from a “headcount point of view”, losing Casadei and Iversen from the previous submitted list. Smithies was never in and has retired anyway. 1. Mads Hermansen 2. Jakub Stolarczyk 3. Danny Ward 4. Conor Coady 5. Jannick Vestergaard 6. Harry Souttar 7. Wout Faes 8. Callum Doyle 9. Hamza Choudhury 10. James Justin 11. Ricardo Pereira 12. Dennis Praet 13. Wilfred Ndidi 14. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall 15. Harry Winks 16. 17. 18. Marc Albrighton 19. Yunus Akgun 20. Kasey McAteer 21. Abdul Fatawu Issahaku 22. Stephy Mavididi 23. Patson Daka 24. Kelechi Iheanacho 25. Jamie Vardy Alves, Braybooke, Cannon, Madivadua, Maswanhise, Nelson class as U21s, so don’t need to be in the registered 25 this season. So two spaces if no one leaves.
  20. Maybe he was just more hopeful of a return that the medical team.
  21. We don’t need to sell him. What we won’t do is stand in his way if he wanted to leave. Discussions go on all of the time. Think of it like this, if you wanted to buy a used car, you enquire about a few, look at them, talk with the garage, you’re in discussions. That doesn’t mean you’re going to buy it.
  22. We’d be honkers to sell him at this point. I also don’t get the long term appeal of Brighton either. Maybe that’s just me though.
  23. I saw something on X earlier that stated “Klopp is on the Mount Rushmore of Premier League Managers”. Seriously …….for me. Ferguson Wenger Guardiola Mourinho
  24. KDH out then O’Hare and Sensi in?
