A bit windy tonight for a kick about!

Ultimately in many companies, the lines of responsibilities are blurred. Unless anyone can whip out an organisation chart, I think it’s all just hearsay. Whichever way you cut it, we had a great decade whilst Rudkin at the club, so you’ve got to give him some support. We proved, you don’t need millions to win the league. The sooner people realise that money isn’t the answer to success, the better football will be. Most of the time until spend money as a last result as you don’t have anyone that’s ready and capable. We’ve invested heavily in long term progression, scouting, recruitment and facilities. That doesn’t produce overnight results and may take years to bear fruit. If we can produce a production line of players that are capable of stepping into the team, then we will have succeeded. Maybe, just maybe, we’re just taking that step backward right now, so we can take two steps forward.

May explain why we held back on Ilias Chair https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/25422926/qpr-player-ilias-chair-accused-assault-lorry-driver/ QPR star Ilias Chair faces calls for two years in jail after ‘smashing lorry driver’s skull with a rock’

Ronnie Pickering …..

They were hard to miss! She’s definitely had them reconstructed.

I liked Charlotte. What on earth do they see in the house on a daily basis that we don’t
-
I wondered if we’d send him out on loan. It be playing for the first team. He’ll need testing at a lower level before we try him in the Championship.
-
What is the opinion of everyone? Does it have a long term future? I can’t be the only person that thinks every club needs a rebranded name?
-
Does anyone know the current injury status?
-
He’s showed signs and glimpses of ability. I’m not convinced he will be a midfielder long term. It leaves us short and I just hope we have a plan to beat Ipswich on Monday. We don’t want the wheels falling off.

“We’ve got two ex Samdoria players, you’ll never sing that”
-
It’s debatable if he’s up to Championship standard. Never mind Chelsea’s squad!
-
I didn’t rate him last season either. We just had a horrible transfer window in January 2023. He’s steady but I maintain that we overpaid for a player that wasn’t that much better, or if at all better than Luke Thomas.
-
Yes, agree he’s been a mainstay of the team. He’s just an average fullback that we overpaid for. We won’t get our money back, so potentially need to cut our losses.
-
How are Praet and Perez both rated as a 6? Why has left us and doing okay in La Liga. The other is shite, living off one pass, injured 80% of the time and still here. I mean they gave Amartey the same rating as well! Also, how are the likes of Michael Ball not just a 1? It is the worst piece of journalism I’ve read about us this year.

FFP hits hard in the real world, and … maybe we should rethink?
Sly replied to KingsX's topic in Leicester City Forum
FFP is its current model is anti restrictive in my opinion. I do wonder if a Manchester City might challenge it legally if pushed, as it’s a restriction of trade. They clearly have the money, so not allowing them to put it in and develop if crazy. Can you imagine if you won the lottery and purchased a restaurant for £10k. You want to make it Michelin star. So want to spend £100k on renovations, getting the best staff etc for it, however you’re not allowed to grow, as some rules state you can only spend £50k on staff wages. You can afford the world’s best chef but the rules don’t allow it. Bonkers. -
I’d be recruiting someone who’s obviously a traitor Also if they decline, then they’re getting murdered.

I need to see more of Charlotte to be honest!

What people tend to forget, is that the United States is so large. Can you imagine if all of Europe joined up as the United States of Europe one day and we had to vote for a President. Britain, Spain, France, Italy, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Switzerland etc, all have different principles and cultures. The USA is no different to that in principle. American citizens also aren’t as well travelled to experience other cultures. Only 26% of them have visited 5 countries + https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/12/06/americans-who-have-traveled-internationally-stand-out-in-their-views-and-knowledge-of-foreign-affairs/ Compares that to the UK for example And you’re up to 69%.

I’m kinda hoping she sinks and we never hear her name again. She (and people like her) are largely what is going wrong in the world. I mean, her ex husband sued her for releasing a pornographic video of them. Some people hold her as some national bloody treasure for some reason but she’s not. If a bloke had done that, they’d be cancelled and everything (quite rightly).

100% this. Leicester and Bath were the Liverpool / Manchester United of Rugby Union at one point.
