On the Monaco forum, they’ve basically said he’s their best defender. Which isn’t hard, as the rest of them are really crap. Someone still described him as a 3.5 or 4/10 😝

Could just play games at Seagrave!

I think most clubs sack managers before it becomes that toxic. We have Rodgers another 6 - 12 months really, after he should have gone. Ranieri could have fallen into this category if he’d have got the same backing and relegated us. I can’t think of anyone else though. Martinez at Wigan maybe? I guess Clough at Forest fits the bill, albeit over a longer period of time.
-
If Rodgers had been dismissed earlier and we’d avoided relegation, he’d be looked at in a different light. He had the nucleus of a very good team still. No idea why he didn’t use Soyuncu or Vestergaard, then persisted in playing Ward and Amartey. As bad as we were, that team still could have stayed up. However the acquisitions under Coopers reign have crippled this club. Ayew, Reid, Skipp would never have been here under Maresca. The question remains, who sanctioned any of those signings? Was it the manager at the time, Glover, Rudkin or Aiywatt? All in all, none of them are as bad as Taylor.
-
I think this is a serious topic of discussion now. Ricardo, Winks, Ayew, Daka and Begovic leave in the summer. That’s not a bad thing in itself, as well lost likely be in league one. Fatawu will be sold. However, can you see us replacing them? We’ll look to utilise the youth within the academy. These aren’t ready to play a more physical style of football. That is evident from what we’ve been watching this season. A few loan if we get them will also most likely be youth players. We could continue to drop If we aren’t careful.
-
Yes, so they need wiping as well. They’ll get cleared with the sale of Fatawu I’d imagine. We won’t sign James either, which will be tragic, as he’s the player we should build around for this next generation.

He makes Forest Gump look like Einstein
-
Italy are also, really bad these days
-
Dog muck Utter dog muck He makes me pine for the return of Faes. He is that bad
-
Thomas on, games gone.
-
Evans, Fofana and Soyuncu were okay when we were pushing top 4. It went down hill when we signed Wout Faes and our signings have got slowly more doggo.
-
I’ve seen snails move at a quicker pace than that penalty
-
Can we just bin Okoli off?!? He’s more of a liability than Faes was.

It would be let by a specialist agent if they were actively selling it. It wouldn’t typically be out in the public domain, as it would be more of a case that agent would contact perspective buyers. The other way is that a perspective buyer does a land search for the sum of £3, identifies the owner of said land and contacts them directly.

To a player, football is just a job. Consider this. You are an admin assistant at your current place of work. You are paid £400,000k per year to file paperwork and type emails on your state of the art MacBook. Your boss is toxic. The owners are toxic. The entire workplace is toxic. You can’t leave as you have a lifestyle, family and commitments that rely on your wage. Everyone will have a different answer However some will make cuts and leave. Others will stay as they know they won’t get it better elsewhere. Others will ride though it with gritted teeth. Others will challenge for improvement. Others will outwardly show frustration. Others will silently quit and just go through the motions.

Or, we just ask Tom Cruise and Margot Robbie if they want to buy us, setup a Netflix documentary, garner massive media attention and look forward to the “Hollywood Derby” against Wrexham every season as Premier League heavyweights.

Each to their own.... Leicester City belongs to all of us
Sly replied to tickler28's topic in Leicester City Forum
Reality is; not every club can be top of the pyramid. Outside of the big five clubs (Tottenham being included as a sixth is laughable at this point), then the rest of the football league is largely interchangeable. Football is like a waterwheel. Sometimes you’re out the water and on top. Sometimes you’re under and fighting not to drowned. -
We could have a wip around …..

I can see the argument on the stadium plans, as if we’d maintained or Stabalised, we’d fill the stadium. I mean, at the right price point, we’d fill it in league 2. We have a fan base. What we have is lots of people who currently feel disconnected and ripped off.

I think El Khannous is already burning bridges where he is. He got dragged at half time the other day. Talented but doesn’t have the right attitude.
-
The odds don’t mean a thing really. Victor Pereira is still 7/1 and he’s joined Forest. The longer this goes on though, the longer you question if the plan is to just install King until the Summer (or longer).

I tried to do some digging on how the parachute payments work. It’s a little murky to say the least. I guess we’ll not renew lots of our big wage earners and sell off the likes of Fatawu on the cheap before we sell the training ground.
-
This is a really important point, as the stadium is owned by a shell company in effect (K Power Holdings Co Ltd), which is registered in the British Virgin Islands. This gives it tax breaks and asset protection.

We’ll know more on the financial situation with King Power around the end of April I’d imagine, when the 2025 a accounts visible here https://datawarehouse.dbd.go.th/company/profile/50105539024396 King Power have lots of other assets they’d be better off selling before Seagrave. I can imagine we’d be better sold as a complete package, training ground, stadium, players etc rather than piece meal. Belvoir Drive is an interesting one, as you can’t do a lot with it, unless the Council give planning permission for re-development. As its sports pitches, I wonder if they’d made a 6 a side facility on it and used it as an income stream, if that would suffice? Obviously annoy all the residents in Aylestone with shouting teenagers and massive floodlights, however that’s the price you pay ….. If King Power or the family at least go into administration, they’ve got hotels, sky scrapers, OHL, polo clubs etc, it just depends what gives. If you look at King Power in terms of size, then going bust would be the equivalent of Heathrow Airport Retail Partners going bust. King Power have got a semi monopoly in the market they’re in, however in my tourism retailer companies sizes, they’re not a Dufry or Lagardére.

King Power owns us. They released the share holdings on companies house yesterday. I put it on another topic.
