  1. I’ll say it again. Seagrave wasn’t built just to support and grow Leicester, and this always gets overlooked. Vichai had a dream. That dream was to grow sport within Thailand, powered by the King Power brand. Seagrave wasn’t build as part of this “Fox Hunt” project, as the long term plan was they’d get not just the best talents from Thailand, however the larger Asia region and we’d be sustainable long term not though acquisitions, however through selling great youth prospects. The issue I’ve always seen, is that’s it is a truly world class facility. However, does it have the right people running it to truly fulfil on the grand plan? If we sell Monga for £25m tomorrow, it will have covered it‘s running cost for “x” of years. What I also question now is, does Aiywatt, or King Power as a whole, have the same vision that Vichai had? We’ve lost some great people since our title win behind the scenes that will go unnoticed, as they are largely nameless. We don’t just need a competent first team coach / manager. If we truly want to be successful longer term, we need a complete setup of some of the best people at what they do in the world. If we built over the next 25 years and were a sustainable football club that was within the top 10 of the Premier League, participating in Europe etc, we build a bigger fan base and a larger commercial holding. I think the stadium plans were maybe a step too far and we’ve looked to run before we could run. We’ve put the brakes on that. Anything can grow if you water and feed it correctly.
  2. I also think it’s more telling that more people will say no this time around. King Power may well have a waiting list, however will that fill the void? The longer this goes on for, the more the crowds will dwindle.
  3. For anyone that was unsure, update on Companies House today. We are owned by King Power as they are the majority shareholder in us.
  4. My favourite is Leicester 1-0 Chelsea. Goal by Tielemans. Chillwell looked rather unhappy.
  5. The fact Forest are sorted after 2 days and we are still messing around is crazy
  6. I can see a scenario where them staying with King until the end of the season has been discussed. Keeps the pressure off King Power a little; as fans won’t turn on King like they did Cifuentes, Van Nistelrooy and Cooper. It also saves them money.
  7. Seagrave isn’t responsible for where we are now. I’ll counter argue and say it is potentially the reason why in recent years we have managed to attract certain players, over our rivals. If it continues to attract younger talent that we can sell, then it’s worth the investment. If it cost us £5m per year, the sale of Kasey McAteer covered the cost for two years (wages aside). I would however move the women’s team into Seagrave as well, however this may be complicated. Seagrave is so top end and of a high specification, it could re-purpose the place as a hotel, golf resort, sports training centre, Spa, rehabilitation centre, technology park or even repurposed as a closed gated community. It has plenty of book value on the open market.
  8. Benkovic has transferred from AIK to Shenzen Peng City. When you talk about what could have been. Benkovic and Kaputska were ruined by injuries despite being wonderkids at youth level.
  9. Vaping in cars with children could be banned under new plans. Indoor spaces - where smoking is already banned - would also become vape and heated tobacco-free under the proposals, as would areas outside hospitals. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cwy61zlg10vo
  10. If we drop to League 1, this definitely won’t need to happen.
  11. We all care about Leicester. They are our football club. That’s why we are here. I guess one of the biggest fears is that eventually we will get it right again and rise.
  12. We have delusions of grandeur currently I’d imagine. We are most likely trying to contact people we already know. Rudkin and Dyche know each other.
  13. Just discussing it with my wife actually. My wife doesn’t think she’s guilty. I’m on the fence. Can you state without reasonable doubt she did it? I don’t think you can. Could she have done it, yes. So much circumstantial evidence but it doesn’t mean she’s done it. Like it say, if she’s innocent, she’s really unlucky.
  14. Watching the Lucy Letby drama and I thought of @Wymsey!
  15. Yes, we binged it the day it came out. Really good!
  16. A load of Tennis Balls with “King Power out” written on them, would have more impact and be cheaper than a plane. You can’t ignore a load of tennis balls on a pitch, as it disrupts play.
  17. I despised his football and I called for him to be axed from the pre season he joined. However….. We’ve gone from bad to worse since they got rid of him. That alone is something special and at this point I think it shows more about our players than it does the head coach. Dyche would take one look at this squad and come no where near us if he’s got any sense. I’m at the point where I think a half fit Souttar would improve us and he’d need him fit to give us half a chance of fighting out of this shit show we are in.
  18. Interesting split so far, I was wondering if we’d see a decline in attendances if we got relegated for two seasons on the bounce.
  19. I’m convinced the plan was to let King have it until the end of the season. Top is still advertising himself as interim CEO as well, what happened to the other person he randomly appointed? Has she gone?!
  20. If you read between the lines, he did okay at Southampton with what he was given in terms of very average players acquired by them. They are basically another version of us in most things, based on the South coast. I still can’t get over that he lost 9-0 twice though.
  21. Hypothetical situation We get relegated to League 1. Daka, Winks, Ricardo, Lascalles, Ayew, Marçal an Begovic leave when contracts expire. We don’t renew anyone. We then have a squad that still has players that don’t want to play in league one. Fatawu is definitely off. What about our “generational talents”, are they off as well? Monga, Nelson, Page, Evans, Alunko etc We then have the entire underlying King Power out, Top, Rudkin situation Are you planning on renewing your ticket?
  22. I said that this season
  23. How bad is the bloke we signed from Spain, if Begovic is playing by the way!
  24. Ralph Hasenhutle is now the favourite.
  25. GK : Ward LB : McGiven CB : Amartey CB : Okoli RB : Neilsen LM : Tiatto CM : Wise CM : Lewis CM : Jarrett RM : Danns ST : Kermogant
