Today’s performance hasn’t exactly set the world alight again. It is clear to see where this goes from here. We are staring down the barrel of a return to league one. I’m not convinced that we will come straight back up this time. This season is an utter disgrace. This team is a an utter disgrace. Please can we appoint a proper coach and stop dicking around with Andy King? What’s the plan? Do these pricks at King Power and the club not see what they’re doing? Have they no idea what impact this shambolic running of not just a football club but a business, us not just unacceptable but quite frankly bordering on criminal. We are rotten to the core, from top to bottom. We will get relegated if this continues without even putting up any form of fight.

Every hire is a gamble, that’s the reality of it. I’d personally like more experience for the situation we are in right now, given the first priority is not getting relegated. I’m not sure you’d jump from Lincoln to Leicester right now, considering we could effectively pass like ships in the night if they get promoted and we get relegated. I’d personally also want to see the job out at Lincoln. He’s more of a risk than a Smith. However likewise with the Maresca appointment, if we do gamble on someone, you could see our board going that way in the summer. Smith isn’t coming here to keep us up only though, so if he arrived, it’s a longer term contract. I do think they’ll have spoken to Martin, Smith, Coleman, Rowett etc Maresca and Periera will have rejected any offer of talks. I could even see them being in a deluded state and trying to speak with the likes of Amorin. We could still go with King until the end of the season at this point and see how he favours in the next few weeks. If things upturn with the new arrivals, it then gets reviewed at the end of June.

I agree. That’s why I’d do it in the summer if that’s the plan. Similar to what we did with Maresca. First priority is staying in the division.

2nd in League 1, 2 points behind Cardiff. Lincoln fans I know rate him. I wouldn’t have him as my first pick, however apparently the football style is good to watch.

Pearson was complimented by Shakey and Walsh. They worked excellently as a trio. I don’t think any of them had the success elsewhere as they worked as a team.

He’s also done a very good job at Lincoln, the FA previously and was highly thought of at Leeds. Mourinho was a translator once. Everyone starts somewhere and I don’t think he’d be the worst appointment. He’d be more ideal in the summer though I’d imagine, if that is the option we persue.

Unfortunately I don’t think he’s in a position health wise to be considered.

I disagree. He’s got a better CV than Cooper, RVN and Cifuentes combined in my opinion. If his name was Deano Smithyentez, people would be happier. We need solid, reliable and structure. He will add all of this. If he’d have been given those two horror games, you’d like to think we would have survived. We need gutting and rebuilding. I’m hoping this (if true) is the start of that.

We’re sad and disappointed about the decision. The punishment is smaller than what the Premier League first wanted, but they still think it’s too big and unfair. The club thinks the rules should be checked over 3 years, and the Commission agreed with them on that part. The Commission also agreed Leicester didn’t do anything extra bad on purpose, and that the club’s money situation is getting better. Now Leicester City is reading the full decision carefully and deciding what to do next. They want everything to be fair and reasonable.

Sounds like a load of corporate, legal waffle.

He’s a frustrating player but has raw ability. If the aim of to get us out of the PSR mess and we can get loans in until the end of the season, I can see this being done.

If he comes in and gets us promoted, he’d need some sort of Messiah status with this shambles of a squad. That isn’t happening by the way.
