I actually think SCO are just about at peak it will be slowly back downhill from here they are starting to lose those big players. ENG are in a major transition they have a lot of young players coming through and a new coaching approach. It’s mentioned it took SA 14 or so games to fully understand & implement Felix Jones ‘blitz defensive’ it will take ENG as long. Russell will have a field day with the amount of width ENG will leave when they get it wrong. IRE were winning this tournament before a ball was kicked, they only surprise is how bad France have been in the 2 games.

The Police are stuck between a rock & a hard place on theft, they can build up a picture of potential OCGs via modus operandi & then time / money will be spent tracking those down, the opportunists wearing a hat, gloves & scarf will probably never be caught until they slip up themselves. I can't imagine millionaire footballers have 'dummy' alarm boxes & standard locks on their doors & yet they are often hit, unfortunately alarms, locking devices & surveillance equipment are merely deterrents for those opportunists, anyone who really wants something be it an object or access they will get it regardless of these things.

Had a similar experience to @Red Squirrel using AA’s relay service. Broke down around 9am about 120miles from home & it took over 15hrs for them to get us home. As the name suggests AA sling shoot you back to a final destination this being home or a garage. I to was in a fixed 4WD vehicle & despite telling the operator this after a couple of hours an AA van pulls up who says yep you not going anywhere but I can’t pull you I’ll need to arrange a low loader. Few more hours pass low loader arrives and we’re on our way, 20minutes later we pull into a petrol station where he says right I drop you here and some else picks you up to carry on. This happened 3 times to finally get us home & each time we had to wait a few hours they couldn’t even link up local garages for a more seamless transfer. Then I had the dilemma of what is my final destination; home and then have to sort someone to pick up car; or garage then have to get a taxi at gone midnight 🤷‍♂️ In the end I bunged the AA guy some cash and he took us home after dropping the car outside the garage. AA attended the 1st call (van) then its local recovery in between and then AA make the final drop. I was lucky in that the final destination guy was happy to take a backhander and the 1st guy probably the best of the bunch took us to a local petrol station to use the toilet and get a few drinks and snacks as we’d been on the road a few hours and he said we could be waiting a few hours to get picked up initially, so fair play to him. I cancelled the policy shortly after I wasn’t going through that again.

Typical over reaction because it’s England. Look further than …but it’s Eng v Italy they should be smashing them! How many debutants were there and whilst yes they are playing individually well for their clubs they have not played as an ENG unit, it needs time to gel and it will and if Borthwick makes some big calls we could have a very different ENG moving through the tournament. Then there’s Italy & this is not the Italy of old, these players are now playing competitively in a decent league and most for Benetton who then bring cohesion to the overall squad, it’s no longer about 1 or 2 players they have a very good 15. Their 2 chances of an upset were England and now Wales & only at Wales because of a similar situation as England in that the amount of turnover in players (probably worse to be honest) there is. I would still tip wales to win at home (aware Italy have won there already) but also because it’s the last game of the tournament and I feel whilst Italy have this strong 15 it then gets depleted as the tournament goes on through injuries and suspensions. Lastly let’s not big up the game last night because that was far from what we would have expected, France never turned up and it wasn’t even because Ireland stopped them it was far to comfy for Ireland who will claim the tournament as favourites and probably the grand slam.

Why? if / when Vestergaard goes we need a CB Coady is ours and we know he can play in the premier Nelson is also ours but needs games…so we give him games 🤷‍♂️
