We dared to compete nothing more nothing less, we could have stayed like a Palace

Game could be gone here yellow and losing big players to injuries & now they get a try

š Italian officials as bad as the Italian team 10pts given that shouldnāt have been

Letās calm down the kids only played against 16-18yr olds except for a brief cameo that he probably only remembers as a blur himself. Even in those academy games there isnāt anything there to suggest he will burst onto the scene ala Rooney, heās got some potential but lets not put him up there before he plays a proper game as it does more harm than good for everyone involved.

is it not bonuses included within that ā¬2m so total bill is ā¬2m

Whilst anything for him is neat profit is there any point in selling him just because of that? He does get game time so lets say we sell for £6m, as a starter '&/or' 1st replacement he needs backfilling so how much do you use of that 6m on his replacement & then how much is left & what can you get for that if we are after an #8 or LB as well. So sell 6m but need to get 2 premier lge standard (type of profile being requested) winger + an #8 might as well keep & nurture, he's only had 13 snr appearences with us where he has done pretty well. He's understanding the requirement of covering the RB position as well as getting in the box & once bulked up (on a snr program) & with a bit more experience could become something.

Henderson 75% pay cut is still £85k (upto £110k with bonuses) so won't feel to sorry for him. Also the reason he wasn't paid was because of his request to defer his wages to post April otherwise he would have been stung for tax in this period so fec him I find it strange that there is no mention of the £12m fee the Saudi's paid for him & just 6mths later he's being moved on, it all smells a bit, the fact Liverpool got £12m for a 33yr old in the 1st place i find bamusing & wouldn't put it past the dodgyness of the 'old boys club' brokering side deals off of it.

now that's a blast, this was the drink that helped branch me out of just having lager & got me into ales

I did say ā¬17m so Ā£14m if that makes it any better? But semantics even if we said we had to sell both to receive ā¬10m to spend ā¬1-2m that gap still shows how much in the shite we probably are, the fact we couldn't even offload Praet in a like for like type package & still not break even is kinda worrying.
-
quite, but if true it shows we have zero moveability & probably beyond the limit of what any of us assumed if the sale of 2 players & their wages only allow 1 very very cut priced deal in. Had they said 1 player in 1 player out ok but 2? This could stop us buying anyone this winter if that's the case & we do need a few key replacements/backup's as our bench didn't look that strong v Coventry & probably why he only made the 1 sub, a few injuries we could be looking quite thin on the ground.
-
Surely we don't have to sell BOTH to afford Sensi? i know we are keen to clear the decks but you don't sell ā¬17m worth of assets to afford ā¬1-2m unless of course those personal terms he says they have agreed are in the same ball park as Henderson's Saudi wages

This is a weird 1 with Sheff Utd & will probably drag on until the end of Jan. The rules for Premier lge loans is only 2 players & these can't be from the same club so on 1 hand sending Luke back sets it up for Ward to go there but then they potentially could get an outfield player loan who might be able to provide some creativity which is desperately needed. It's not like Foderingham is the worst keeper in the division, going on stats alone the GK power rankings for December had him as the 10th best keeper in the division, so would it be a waste of a loan getting a keeper in? I hope i'm wrong but i just can't see him going there on loan, if Foderingham was messing up week in week out then maybe but he's not. If he doesn't & Wilder does like him then fingers crossed its a perm deal in summer.

Can someone do a BBC bitesize breakdown on the 'new' UEFA FFP rules due from this June i believe. What i can make out is that the Loss can be £60m up from £35m but future academy investments & Infrastructure builds fall into these losses & not seperate as they are now, is that it in a nutshell & if so then its only allowing those that can afford now to pull away further doesn't it? Or am i reading an old article very badly as i can't seem to find anything on it now

ĆaÄlar Sƶyüncü has received offers from three Premier League clubs, one Serie A club, one club from Saudi Arabia, and from FenerbahƧe, AM willing to sell. Something certainly gone on in Madrid either wasn't wanted in the 1st place by Simeone or there has been a big bust up since.
-
As it's in ⬠then surely £1.7m isn't that much of a gamble for a perm deal & i know there are wages on top but i'd imagine Hull are paying that for a 6mth loan of Fabio C, who would we get on loan if not this & what would we pay for a loan? If he doesn't make it past 6mths & £1.7m becomes a problem in that that could have been used towards another bigger budget signing then we are in more shtook than anyone of us realise.

& as predicted Dermot says he thought it was a yellow also (Gusto) because he "slips into it, its not a nice tackle but i don't think its a red" He loses control & lunges with studs up connecting straight on to a standing leg, they even go on to say Curtis Jones & Gusto himself have been sent off for similar challenges already this season
-
Pace & a lack of control does for him, he doesn't really connect on any part of the oppo's body that would have caused a nasty injury but reckless so given red.....then you see Gusto lunge on Willan where he connects full force onto a planted leg this was a potentially ankle breaker & this was deemed a yellow with no VAR intervention, be interesting to see why on ref watch!
-
Yeah a shame unless carrying an injury
-
Is his injury record any worse than Maddisonās who weād have in a heart beat

Handling errors did cost us during that period but yes not good that we donāt get points but they did. French sides in France just a different beast, watching Bordeaux currently 7 tries up v Sarries with only a 3pt penalty in return & still 20minutes to play
