must be a fix, not a single Leeds player in despite 'battering' us

My premiums went up for sitting in my front room & have my neighbour reverse into my car whilst it was all tucked up for bed on my driveway, despite claiming on the neighbours insurance, having protected NC & nobody sat in the car i still took a hit & have to declare that for the next 5yrs the insurance game is all BS.

No denying Kane is a top class striker he has 15 in 10 + 3* hatricks in the league. At this rate with 24 games to play he should beat Lewandoski’s record of 41 which he set in the 20/21 season. Prior to that the average high scorer would be low 20’s, you have to go way back to the 70s and Gerd Muller to see numbers akin to Kane (possibly) & Lewandoski, last season it was only 16 and that was shared by 2 players. It’ll be so North London to smash the record but get pipped to the title by a plucky little team beginning with L (well ok B but commonly referred to the singular) 😂

Of course the defence was an issue how can posters ignore the defence and lay blame all on attack when the defence has been the start of the attack in the other 14 games, with Vestergaard apparently, the people’s champion for this. They were put under pressure and weren’t allowed to walk the ball to the halfway line to thread a ball through to the opposition box for an 8 to run onto. They (including Faes) lost composure under pressure and if not for Ricardo would have been heavily punished. Collectively as a team we weren’t great but not everything can be put on the attack for mustering only the 1 shot on target, + Fatawu’s effort + they did match Leeds for overall efforts, & then allow the defence to be absolved of any blame when as mentioned in the system the defence starts the attacks. As an aside and as it’s a Vestergaard thread I can get on board with the long diagonal balls that he does but it’s his almost lazy sideways passes that he telegraphs where it’s going and which just about make it I can’t get on board with it’s just a matter of time before these are intercepted, by an aggressive press, or held up on a wet pitch.

I thought it was more a 0:0 game than the Leeds fully deserved the win as some suggest. They never troubled Mads all game really the 5 other shots on target almost dribbled to him where as Fatawu smashes the crossbar (ooh if only) and Meslier claws out the chance from KDH, we got done by a scrappy corner goal. Both sides cancelled each other out before and after that.

Best player on the pitch Ricardo has bailed out Faes & Vestergaard to often it will come to bite us when he tires shout out to Winks, Mavadidi and Fatawu also

Not sure much was expected from England with Borthwick less than a year into the role but still got 2 minutes to a WC final. He’s still putting his stamp & coaching team together with Felix Jones for example joining from the SA staff after next w/ends final. I suspect, like after his half season start with Tigers Tries will follow and I expect a better 6N than this year for sure. When Labour get the gig how long into their term does the Tory bashing and blame stop, I know things won’t be fixed overnight but when do people want to see actual change? Will it continue for years & multiple threads bringing them (Tories) up much like the amount of chat that continues to point back in time and lay all blame on Rodgers? Serious question, do we allow a new government to bumble on pointing backwards and blaming the previous government or do we say enough, you have the reigns you said you were going to do this so get on with it? I hope people are wising up to this, and it’s been used on here before, this almost football allegiance to a particular party & hope there isn’t this well they have ‘x’ number of years grace because the previous government left it in this or that state. Going forward we need to hold them ALL to account, at the minute we give them ALL an easy ride because they are ‘our’ colours that needs to stop and that means colours have to change to support the best team, we need to start mixing it up and keep them on their toes, if your local council aren’t producing make them pay, kick up a stink don’t ghost through just because they are ‘your’ team, it’s the only way we are going to see results!

On the money side i guess the pyramid funding down to the lower leagues has been boosted & therefore those smaller clubs don't have to rely on ticket receipts by taking a Prem club to a replay at the prem ground which historically was their 'money shot'. What is lost is the romance of the big day out for the club, players, fans & that really is the shame in all this.

Do we think the reference to 'on cusp of something quite spectacular' is with regards to a 'new' British and Irish 'super league' that would also include clubs from South Africa and Italy?
