Why would it cost more to replace a bumper on an EV they are made of the same material right? & what electric parts would suffer in the event of a standard bump, surely if parts are faulting on collision the impact probably writes off the car due to an issue with the integrity of the chassis anyway? Surely most claims are bumps & dinks with superficial damage to an exterior panel, the whole thing stinks of BS.

With Southgates penchant for 2x DMs Phillips will always be around the squad just because of the who else is there, personally I'd rather see him sack off Henderson & have JWP with him playing along side Rice with Jude ahead of them & Phillips as the back up, but it won't happen JWP will miss out to Henderson because of loyalty & final hurrah. The other central midfielders in & around the squad are more attack minded; Maddison, Gallagher, Mount, +...can't think?? but no one is getting ahead of Jude now. The likes of Liverpool & Man C youngsters breaking in at this stage are remote, Elliot, Jones, Lewis As an outside bet if we do blow the championship away then they might cast an eye over Winks for a DM role but very unlikely at this stage.

As good a player Maddison is he’s not a starter against the big teams. He won’t get that slot off of Bellingham now, the other 2 midfielders are “holding” so doesn’t fit there and he’s not mobile enough to take 1 of the wide positions. He’s a squad player for sure but most of his games might come against those lesser sides that park the bus where a specialist might be required to open the door.

The whole car insurance issue needs an investigation by the ombudsman who shouldn't accept a blanket 'well its cost of materials' innit. Last year when someone reversed into our parked car it caused a slight scuff & probably something that if it was over 5yrs old & wasn't on lease we might have left but went through the fault drivers insurance as not to sting ourselves when it was handed back. Well who ever the underlying insurance company was, used a repairer that basically made you take out a hire car with them & it was their sole intention to run up costs this way, they were going to get me a car within hours of me calling but hadn't even taken any details of the damage. When i said its ok the car is drivable so can use until it goes in for repair & whilst it's in for repair 'which was a days work as we went to a local body shop to get a quote ourselves' that we wouldn't need a car 'expecting 1 day' because we had a 2nd family car that would be used, they continued with this approach for about 2 weeks, to then say well look unless you take the hire car we can't repair yours. This ticked me right off because i just saw it as a money making scheme, i know i would have had that hire car for atleast 30days with the way they were talking about when they would book it in & how long they would (drag it out for) to repair, my principles took over & i said leave it & got my insurer involved. I know it now goes down as a non fault claim against me but i was livid that their insurer would needlessly milk £85+ per day for 'x' number of days on top of the repair itself, my misses was very much just do it by then but if we all kicked back at these 'scams' which is what they are then insurance wouldn't be so high, it's not so much to do with materials for the repair itself its to milk all the bolt-on's they can.

The only fights of these sort I’d consider watching is both of the Paul brothers fighting ‘proper’ boxers and getting their arses handed to them and in a big way 🥊

I see Curtis Davies the player who joined Birmingham over us (back on loan) because he wanted to play for a big club has just got his 1st International call up at the ripe old age of 38, for Sierra Leone, ooh Curtis how different your career could have been had you chose us.

As suspected it will be down to him to carry the entire series, Freddie might have something about him but the rest (Rodney included) are weak with the worst being David (Niles/Daphne son). Will continue with it just to see the guest appearances but really not expecting much. Quite sad at the end of Ep1 when John Mahony popped up

Ipswich might have Morsy who is a starter away with Egypt although he wasn't in their latest squad & Coventry wont have anyone away so those 2 are in a good place to play us subject to injures/suspensions. The other 3 teams on paper you'd expect us to be stronger than them regardless so if they do have anyone away then only weakens them further. Watford have a handful of African nation players but none have been called up for latest squads Stoke have 2 but neither called up for latest Internationals Swansea have none although they do have the Welsh Pirlo in their ranks

Pity the Ipswich game comes early in the tournament we could do with the full roster available for that 1 if they keep up till then. Other than that the games seem pretty good for us.
