  1. Utter garbage second half. Do people really enjoy watching this half-hearted nonsense?
  2. Me calling the starting line-up has never happened before ….. until today. Us winning a game 16-0 has never happened before, either…… I see a pattern here 😎
  3. Reckon I would go for minimising changes and maximising whatever pace and aggression we can muster. Mads Faes - Vestergaard - Justin Hamza - Winks KMac - Ricky P - KDH - Mavididi Cannon
  4. Does that mean his salary is now available? Will we have to pay him off? Or does insurance cover it? 🤔
  5. Right. As I seem to be floating a ton of unpopular opinions this weekend, here’s another one…… I think Werner is a fabulous player and the one I always wanted to be Vardy’s successor in the days when we weren’t in a Mickey Mouse league. It might take him a few games to get up to speed at Spurs, but I think he’ll do very well there.
  6. Really like the look of Branthwaite. He has height in his side, but adds mobility, great aggression and tenacity to that.
  7. Is there a whole card of difference between Tarkowski’s challenge and Fatawu’s? 🤷
  8. Fair comments. Accepted. Totally. But I’ll remain cautious about him for a while longer 😂👍
  9. I’d agree with your latter point. Suspect that’s true of most strikers? I just struggle with this belief in here that you can’t form opinions on players in a very short time. It’s nonsense. I form working opinions on players inside ten minutes. But I’m totally prepared to accept that they are likely wrong and that, as players grow and careers develop, I’ll need to constantly re-evaluate those opinions. But it’s what we do. We all need working frameworks to start from. At the moment, mine on Cannon are average. I don’t think he’s particularly quick, strong or possessing a great touch. Like you, I think he does have an eye for goal and seems able to finish if we can get the ball to him in the right places. 🤷. I don’t see what is unusual about having an opinion? Can’t believe I’m the only one that has interpreted his appearances thus far in such a way? Maybe I am! 😂
  10. What a strange response. Written off? Hardly. My reference was primarily backwards-facing - suggesting that I don’t think he’s as good as the blindly optimistic in here would have some believe. I do understand that the black & white thinkers in here have difficulty with this …… but those of us who express concern about our evolution are not writing people off. Merely expressing concern with how it looks right now. Again, the masses seem to struggle with the fact that it’s actually a good thing to change one’s mind. I’d be delighted to change mine on Cannon. Expressing an opinion isn’t a lifelong commitment to it! 😂
  11. My head is great. Thanks. But genuinely appreciate your concern. And all our strikers play on their own. Even, sometimes on a good day, with a full contingent of colleagues. I hope you are right about him, obvs. I just, personally, don’t think you are. 🤷
  12. Like everyone else, I’m delighted with how results have gone, this season. We have huge positives to our football. We play with a clear system and huge control. We also have, arguably, better players than virtually all the opposing teams. But anyone telling me we play with passion or physical commitment sees games very differently to me. Beating teams that sit back is one thing. Beating those that really roll their sleeves up and give it a go is another. Cov showed what we can expect from Ipswich - and I remain low on confidence.
  13. Ipswich play with passion and commitment. We don’t. It will be a real challenge. Not confident.
  14. We need to pull a rabbit out of the hat up front. Cannon is nothing like as good as the happy-clappers on here have suggested in recent weeks. Vardy is done. Kels couldn’t care less and we know Daka is as strong as a dunked RichTea biscuit. Let’s hope we get away with it for four more months. 🤞🤞
  15. Like putting in some guts??? 🤷
  16. And they showed a ton more fight than our princesses from their shiny new state-of-the-art ego-pampering centre.
  17. Cov played like they wanted to win. We played, (first half), like we expected to win. No complaints. Hungriest team, on the day, won. That was Enzo-ball towards its worst. Second half we gave up and didn’t even try to play - but first-half was grim and set the tone. Ipswich game is now raised in importance.
  18. It’s still better than waiting for fifteen minutes for VAwank to come out with some absurd decision that rheybhave to wake everyone up to announce. It’s what makes the game febrile. Love it. Even when it’s pants and goes against us.
  19. Insane decision. This ref wouldn’t know a red card if I shoved one up his arse. Which is probably what should now happen.
  20. That tackle was Sunday league. Lower level Sunday league. Could easily have been red.
  21. Well, to be honest, I think we’ve been poor. Playing at a soft tempo, not getting into the derby thing at all. Conservative, cautious football. It’s not us at our worst, but it’s a long way from our best.
  22. Good noise from our end 👍
  23. Training game pace by us. We need to get into this a whole heap more.
  24. Eight first-choices get a rest. That’s good news - however this game ends.
  25. What has transpired here is utterly loathsome. Sickening. But it absolutely does not tarnish all Leicester fans. That’s just ridiculous. Like any other collective of supporters, at any other club, ours will be appalled by this. To insinuate that, in some way, it is reflective of our supporters is as offensive as it is naive.
