I loved Tony Cottee as a player, some great memories over the years, but the more I hear him in the commentary, the more I think he’s got no idea about modern football. He would definitely be the bloke in the stands screaming for us to lump it up to the big man to flick on. Not the best person when some of our fans are struggling to understand the style under Enzo.

Weird sort of first half that, a few times we had the ball in really good positions, but didn’t really threaten. Referee isn’t helping the game blowing up for absolutely everything. I’d be tempted to take Winks off at half time, I can see this referee reaching for a second yellow at the drop of a hat. No one really standing out, maybe Praet the best player so far.

It just depends why he’s been left out today, if we can do enough without him and give him the rest, I’d leave him on the bench. Maybe Yunus for McAteer.

Just got the Huddersfield Southampton game on in the background today and Huddersfield have had two very good penalty shouts turned down, they are playing well.

Decent play in the middle of the park, ball sent wide to Praet who cut inside, a really clumsy tackle from the defender took Preat out - no questions east penalty decision.

Anyone else with a bit of PTSD seeing us get awarded a penalty at Vicarage Road.
