Still a cluster @uck we sold Fofana and Maddison and still couldn't meet PSR. I honestly think Rodgers had them convinced them we would get CL in 21/22 along as we keep the squad together and added a couple. You can sort of understand why they would think it was a reasonable chance after finishing 5th twice and only missed out by a point in 20/21 I think they were a little giddy with winning the FA Cup, give them even more the impression we could bloody the noses of the big 6 and they took a massive gamble. Its the only explanation.

I'd agree both Leeds CB were as good or better, Ampadu got in the team of the season and only cost 7m similar age to TBH. They have also just got Rodon for 10m as part Gray to Leeds deal. I like TBH but 20m for a championship CB is a lot. Makes he the 50th most expensive CB signing in PL history.

Think we are going to have to padded the squad out with the likes on Nelson, Alves and Braybrooke. Buying to many players will block there development. If we bring in 4 CM Braybrooke doesn't get a sniff.
