Ipswich could pay for these missed chances

They would have to seriously improve their Achilles heel, their away form they have only managed 1.55 PPG. There home form is hitting the required point per game level 2.4 PPG to hit the target. We would also have to have a decent drop of as even dropping to 2 PPG see us get 102 points. The only threat to us is complacency.

According to Enzo Academy players Will Alves and Wanya Marçal have small muscular problems. -
Worried for @Pub breath not been seen since Tuesday.....

Loses mainly due to COVID impact. made a small profit in 2022, the next accounts are released on 31 December 2023. King Power is a serious business organisation. They haven't developed this plan on a whim; they would have done a lot of feasibility work. They have spent money on it already, buying land around the stadium, It will happen

Rather be were we are with a PL Trophy and FA Cup in the bag then be Brighton.

Hirst is 24 has managed 6 goals and 5 assists from 1445 minutes for a team smashing the league. His overall championship record is average 6 goals in 2390 minutes. Cannon is 4 year younger (20) scored 8 goals and 1 assist in 1678 minutes for a midtable PNE. I think Cannon is worth the investment.

They play a 5 back which meant it was 5 on 5, the switch made it 6 against their 5. Just an off night for KDH but still an important assist. As one of our main men team are going to come up with plans to keep him quiet.
-
Nice tactical tweak by Enzo tonight moving Wilf to left 8, KDH central and pushing Ricardo further forward to make it a 3. Gave more opportunities for overloading especially down the left.

Great win.

They did, but you don't think Kante would have made a difference over Mendy who played 9 games. A Kante who that season was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year, the FWA Footballer of the Year and the Premier League Player of the Season. Interesting..... Personally I think we would have done better then 13th in the league.

2016 was won on the back of being a team where everyone knew their job and carried it out to the best of their abilities. Mahrez and Vardy added the magic. I often wonder what we could have achieved the following year with Kante still in the team.

The Fofana deal went through on the 31st of August. After a month of haggling for 70m, we spent 15m on Wout Faes on the 1st of September. Chelsea pay were due to pay two instalments of £23,166,666 and £23,166,167 in February and August 2023 (46m), which is known because we took out a bridging loan with Macquarie Bank and the instalments are documented. We received the remaining 24m upfront in the summer, of which we spent 15m on Faes. So, I would argue there was money for a goalkeeper if we chose to do so. Or we could have done a Forest and signed some like Keylor Navas on a loan.

Yes Bellingham!

Clarke is a lovely player for Sunderland, would have him in a flash.

Depends how you cut it If you cut it to the the last 4 games we are above you in the form table on goal difference. I think what will be decisive is the amount of point you will need from from less games. We take 55 points (2.11 per game) from the 26 remaining games you need 64 points (2.46 per game) sustaining that over 26 games is difficult.
-
Not true, we would have spent 20m on Harrison if Leeds didn't pull the plug last minute. So we had money but chose not too.
-
They would have paid it if he was the keeper he was, you can't pay someone top 4 keeper money if he's playing like average PL keeper. The replacement was the issues.
-
I think they would have done, if Kasper was willing to reduce his wages demands. He was in the top 4 paid keepers in the league. The mistake was the replacement not moving Kasper on.

Red card VAR have bottle that.

No surprise the team in and around Europe like Newcastle, Brighton and West Ham finding it harder. Being in European two season running ruin out squad.

Think we were under pressure FFP wise and felt that we could get thought to the next summer to rebuild. If we had a committed manager they would have been right. Our squad organised with Iversen in goal for 38 games would have stayed up.
