  1. Us and Leeds to go up.
  2. As it would seem. Hope he's heart is in it.
  3. Pretty sure with no pandemic this would have been completed already. Stress on the owner finance has made things difficult.
  4. Can't see it
  5. Simply a wording issue whilst rushing around, updated, sorry dad...
  6. Could have told you that before he went there that they wouldn't want to pay the fee. I'm sure they would take him on the Cheap.
  7. People kidding themselves that Daka has a future here......
  8. Linked with Worrell when Rodgers was here, rehash of old news.
  9. The system isn't the problem, the top 4 goal scorer in the division are all out performing their xG by 2 to 3 goals. Vardy is par and Nacho underachieving on the chance they are presented with. Armstrong has played similar minutes to their combined total has a lower xG (8.8) but has scored 12 goals compare to Vardy and Naco 11 for an xg (11). If Armstrong had the same amount of chances Vardy and Nacho had and keep the same conversation rate he would have 14-15 goals. Vardy and Nacho have been bang average in front of goal others have been more clinical.
  10. I'd say that 10th-13th is about par for that squad, there are a lot of dogshit squads in the bottom half. It a limited squad but suits he's method. My comment was tongue in cheek regarding his style of play rather than his ability to get a tune out of a team.
  11. Didn't know Sean Dyche was a member....... You do realise we have the best defence in the league?
  12. Oh the old it's not Nacho fault it's the system.
  13. Maybe I just watched the average games, overall quality is down in my view.
  14. Don't get me wrong it going to be an exciting season, but I just think the quality it down.
  15. PL is bang average this season.
  16. I agree, I also think people over estimate our creative attacking talents. In the wing positions we Fatawua and Macteer young players with limited experience, a untested Akgun new to the uk who been out injured. Only Madividi is really proven at this type of level and an aged Albrighton. At Ndidi a converted CDM playing a creative 8 role for the first first time in his career. KDH who never really been a massively creative player, best return of his career goal contribution wise already. Praet injured for most of the season and an untested Casadei.
  17. Interesting that people are being critical of a manager for wanting to control games, be well structured defensively and avoid games developing into basketball matches. All 3 of which were massive reasons why our last 2 season in the PL were shambolic. We conceded 127 league goals during those 2 season at 1.69 goals a game. In our relegation season we scored more goals then any team in the bottom 10, but went down because we couldn't defend. Any manager worth his salt is going to come in and see that as a major focus when rebuilding. I agree we could be a little more aggressive and be a little bolder, but give the bloke a chance.
  18. People keep blaming the system but compare Vardy and Nacho to the top 4 goals scorers in the division. All 4 are outperforming their xG, by more than 2. Vardy is just ahead and Nacho is just behind, combined they are bang on their xG They have both been bang average.
  19. 270m ish over the last 3 seasons, more than we spent in our last 4 PL seasons.
  20. They have one of the best manager in Europe and have invested serious money over the last 3 season, be interesting to see what they can achieve.
  21. I'm a scout.....
  22. Don't become a scout......
  23. Total XG for a season in isolation isn't a great indication of chance creation. Team A can have 20 shots at 0.1 xG and end with a total xG of 2 Team B can have 2 shots at 0.75 xG and end with a total xG of 1.5 So Team A has a better xG for their game, but Team B actually created the 2 better chances. If you take into account the number of shots taken, our xG per shooting action is roughly on par with the likes of Leeds, Southampton and Ipswich I'd argue we look too controlled games and are a little risk-averse than the likes of Leeds, Southampton and Ipswich, which results in us having fewer shots. Our control leads to us conceding less and scoring less, Ipswich are more like to win a game 4-2 or 3-2 compared to our 2-0 or 2-1. It is a quantity, not a quality issue.
  24. Daka isn't going to feature again in my opinion, he'll be gone in January.
