Must be a fan footfall v number of turnstiles there then as there is never a queue or problem at any Kop turnstile other than the one incident I said which occurred all around the ground that day.
-
Curious to know which turnstiles you go through, I use all the kop ones depending on which side I’m walking from and only ever had 1 delay, first game a few seasons back when digital tickets were first used and fans hadn’t a clue how to use the system. Since then, maybe 3-4 seasons, I just walk up, no queue or only one or two in front, place end of phone on reader, green light and in. So which area is garbage then?

We are not United, they run their club differently, they used to have to buy home cup games tickets as well, not sure on that these days but their waiting lists are long hence you have to attend. Nothing like LCFC, all you get for missing a match is a daft email asking why you weren’t there.

Protest at the Boro game. Mass walk out?
promised land replied to Pliskin's topic in Leicester City Forum
As I said earlier, a whistle for £2, easy to get past the Nazi turnstile police, more disruptive than a tennis ball as you get one go with that whereas a whistle you can blow all game. But being LCFC no one will do anything and the KP lovers will continue to lick the Thais arse holes and worship the ground they walk on. -
Protest at the Boro game. Mass walk out?

How about everyone buys a whistle from Jeff tonight, should be delivered by Tuesday and we constantly blow them all game, players won’t hear the refs whistle so will cause turmoil. £4 for a pair https://amzn.eu/d/cGEe6v2 -
Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD
promised land replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
Absolute mongies in the east stand applauding the players at the end when they hung around and didn’t want to face the stands. They should be ashamed of themselves, gappy clappers I’m talking about. -
Have you managed to save this one or was it trashed by the time it got back down again? The amount of black gaffer tape you had underneath it was surprising. I didn’t realise they take that much to hold it together.
-
You may mock it but I attended one last season, not as much to see how to get in as it’s straight forward but more for how it works and some of the crap spouted on here back then and when they announced an end to cards was amusing when you know how it actually works. If you’ve got half an hour spare it’s worth going along.

I never knew that having no need to screenshot a QR code. Interesting though, I guess it’s to stop touts selling screen shots? But as has been posted above the live QR code combats that’s now anyway if it’s active.
-
No need to turn of NFC. Open your season ticket in your wallet, little circle with dots inside, top right of your screen, press that, then press ‘pass details’, QR code is then on your screen, it’s a back up if the NFC in the top of your phone doesn’t work. No idea if it’s live QR though.
-
Come off it, are you trying to sit behind your keyboard and say you have never placed any kind of bet before in your life? Anyone that moans about betting sponsors has double standards. Half the concourse at a match is either at the bookies under the stand or on their phone betting.

Remembering When LCFC Moved From Filbert Street
promised land replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
It’s amazed me how there’s not a park n ride service on match days or that I know off. When the rugby World Cup games were on they had buses lining up at Birstall on a shuttle service, there were no more attending than a normal match day so why don’t those in charge get together to provide a service. You've got Birstall, Enderby and Braunstone cross roads park n ride sites that could all accommodate it and places like County hall. More so on Sunday games when local trains aren’t running and bus services from here anyway are non existent. Soulsby doing all he can to rid the city of cars yet public transport is still the pits. Oh but cycle lanes are the answer, how could I forget that. -
Must be luck of the draw as when I went in they said no but if they had a job coming up they might have a roll or two left. Which they didn’t at the time.
-
It is not artificial 4G turf like you get on sports courts with those black bits. Just fibres sewn into the ground for the grass to wind around to grow stronger.
-
Derries Nurseries don’t keep turf in stock, when it’s cut and rolled (usually from Lincolnshire) it’s generally delivered that day to the customer, it goes yellow very quickly. More so when it’s hot and dry, they could’ve picked a box of grass seed up from Asda like I did last week, £4 I think. 😊

Away fans get 3000 max or thereabouts, absolutely no way you’d give them more tickets, Old Trafford only allocate 3000 in the away end give or take a few with a 70k plus capacity. By giving them more tickets you’re giving the bigger clubs more advantage on the road, they’d sell 4-5k easily but you just wouldn’t allow it apart from the cup allocations which is different. Second tier I think it’s 2k minimum allocation but I could be wrong there, top flight is 3k though.

I am about done with football, Man City saga has just disappeared and how can Chelsea keep selling back to themselves? Reading DavieG post above mine I get the impression we will get points deducted this season as it says in bis post then the EFL will want us again next season. Might just be my last season as a STH next season, non league has never looked more appealing.

Jamie Vardy: A Legend's Final Home Appearance
promised land replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
I get the feeling KPFC are bigging this up to gloss over the fact we are relegated from the league. A celebration when we are going down, beyond words. -
I knew he was Quorn based as after the cup win someone saw him in the park, Birmingham isn’t far to commute as I’ve done it many times in the past. I never knew tickets got released due to coach shortage, I just thought they’d given up on it by then, all week I was trying to convince myself to give in and just travel on it but I wanted to stand by my point of not being told how to travel basically 100 miles as an adult. Plus it was a first come first served so stood queueing in a bus park, forget that.
-
Your coach maybe but the one my mates went on it was like that, slowly sipping drinks meant you didn’t have to abide by the Covid rules. Grown adults being told what to do. Some make follow their orders, others make their own decisions.
-
Does he still live in the area then? Was at the game myself behind goal and as you looked across the stand it looked like more were there than actually were, when we scored everyone piled forward and it was almost normality again at the football which was a good thing. No way I was going by coach though so held off buying until the Friday afternoon (was not going to go due to the stupid bus rules at first) when the last tickets were released without any fox travel commitments so drove down to Stanmore and tubed it in. I heard afterwards it was one person per pair of seats, seated near the window with face nappy on. Sounded like an American prison bus with all the orders what to and not to do. Surprised you weren’t shackled as well on the coach. Oh the ridiculous rules continued I now remember as we had to go for a bat flu test at a centre a few days before the game as well, somewhere in Mowacre Hill I recall for me. Still, its an FA Cup win I’ve seen.

Didn’t the Wednesday night one change during the season we were in it anyway? So some fans were singing different lines to others. Personally I think once a song has got off the ground it shouldn’t be altered due to the above, but last line of Vichai had a dream is poor I think. I remember the MC at half time at Huddersfield commenting on it thinking we were singing it to them, he then mentioned they’d won the league 3 times which they had about a century ago but only because he misheard us singing it. Hats off to those who try and come up with new songs, not something I’d try and do. The past decade we have had some great times but hardly any songs about them. FA cup for example we won for the first time.

£75k a week or year for Daka?
-
The first one with the foxes head has to be the one for me, mainly because from what I heard the group had zero help from the club with regards seating layout, blocks, aisles, stair wells etc and it took one of them to walk it and map it out. You would think if they asked the powers that be they would give you a template to use. Shows how much actually goes into these before they even start cutting, painting, taping together. Many hours/ weeks work from a lot of them for just a few minutes exposure, shows the commitment.
