Saying very confident seems an odd phrase to me. Accountants at the club should know the rules, should know what will break PSR and what doesn't. So the club should be saying we haven't broken PSR and carry on. Saying very confident, to me, says there's doubt. Whether that's due to a grey area in the accounts, or the rules are so poo that no one is fully sure, which leads to different interpretation of the same thing. Surely if you want clubs to abide by the rules, they have to be clear. But we've proved, the rules are utterly ridiculous.

I checked the table and saw this. The manager there has done a cracking job. QPR and Sheffield Wednesday got their manager recruitment so right last season. Hats off to them.

If we have breached, then season is over and the knock on affect will be unrepairable for years. It could get seriously toxic in the fan base. We won't be a premier league team for donkeys. We'll be a lost has been in the championship. Next season more points deductions, transfer embargo and business plan that will force the sales of players for peanuts. Here's a thought I've had. Have we brought this guy in to develop and work with the youngsters so they can come into the first team? We've done this because the board know we can't afford new signings, so this is their solution? Get a highly rated youth coach to integrate young players ready to play for the 1st team. If this is the case and they've not told Ruud the full story, he'll walk. Just something that came to me at 3am
